Reservation canceled by restaurant day before event.event was canceled by dw Wolfe "management" with explanation "we double booked Sunday. We were to have lunch (1pm to approximately 3pm .the event was planed and for newborn baptism. There were many family members traveling to attend event from as far as florida,New Yersey,New York etc. Canceling Sunday event could only mean that somebody else paid more for same slot.i will gladly hear from de wolfe for explanation . Although historic venue ,I'm afraid I will not take a chance for another event . New owner should reconsider restaurant practices ,or adress some serious drawbacks from his staff.

Met folks for lunch - mostly because the terrace has such a nice view. Previous visits have NOT been for the food options. This visit surprised us. We had the specials - clams, corned beef, meatloaf - and it was great to have a palatable meal here. WORTH now going - but l suggest specials. The wine is ok, and the bloody mary's are good. Nice for a lunch out with a casual, comfortable atmosphere. Service is getting better too.
