Wow—what an incredible experience at Hoshitori! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-tier. The food was absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with passion and precision. Every bite was a reminder of why sushi can be such an art form.

I had a salmon avocado hand roll and it was so delicious! The service is very good and the food comes out really quickly. I definitely recommend this place because they have so many different options so there is always going to be something for everyone!

Great sushi!

Don’t waste your time or money coming here. I ordered Miso. Ramen soup , it was cold and the egg was even colder. Wife wanted Salmon Teriyaki, it came under cook we had to ask them to cook it some more. Service was inexistente the waiter was rude and as we entered said that it was their lunchtime and that they will eating all together, it sounded like she didn’t wanted us there. No problem , we aren’t coming back.

Good sushi - but be aware - it is strictly take-out and they use a very confusing digital menu and the staff are really not helpful about explaining how to order, which is a problem because many of the items have fanciful names like "Rainbow Dragontail River" with no explanation as to what the hell that entails.

Ok, was waiting a long time to make my review of Hoshitori Sushi in Old Tappan. I wanted make sure I had sufficient data so I have ordered from here about 8 times before deciding. AMAZING SUSHI. The staff is always amazingly friendly when I go into pick up or if I need something added to my delivery. Order from their website, not directly from Uber Eats. Uber overcharges. We order from here every weekend for Sushi Saturday at our house. Wish the dining room was reopened so we could come dine in! So nice!

Recommended dishes: Sashimi Yellow Tail Belly Toro and Uní Sushi, Miso Soup 12oz, Old Tappan, Roll, Yellowtail Jalapeño

The food was good. Service was great. There’s only one table in the whole place. It looks like more of a take out place than dine in which was confusing to us when we got there considering we made a reservation on their website. They make you order on a tablet so that’s a hassle if you have a bigger party. I’d definitely say it’s good sushi and recommend it but I would highly suggest just doing take out.

Ordered a last minute platter for a ladies night get together. My go to sushi place was not able to get it done in time. Quality and presentation was lovely and everyone was happy with the selection. You made a new customer.

The sushi is fresh and the price is reasonable. There aren't any tables indoors so it's primarily for take out. Would go again!
