Amazing food. Great customer service! I come here near daily for lunch at work and my order is always consistent and delicious. Very clean restaurant. The people who work here are so kind and go the extra mile to greet me by name. 5/5!

Not to say every time I visit Carlitos everyone is so welcoming and sweet their fish tacos are the star of the menu. I’m a very picky eater and yesterday I happen to request something special and that’s never been requested. I ordered fish with everything that goes on top of the taco except the tortilla with their spicy mayo sauce on the side it’s something different that’s not in the menu (not my first time doing special request that aren’t in the menu). So anytime you need to make any adjustments or special request let them know. Thank you to everyone at Carlitos for always making my experience with them so great and special!!

UPDATE March 2025- great stays great! These are still the best tacos in NJ. The birria and fish are a must.

Despite what you might think about buying tacos at the mall these are absolutely the best tacos you'll buy no matter where they are. There is nothing better than the quesa-taco from Carlitos be it the recently added fish, the pulled pork, the brisket, the veggie with the fried plantain, you name it it's all perfect. So if you're a local head over, if you're driving through make a stop for Carlitos..

Asked to go to bathroom , it had a whole trolly of garbage filled to the BRIM! Disgusting!!!. Not food safe at ALL!!! Tacos were so cold too. And the music they played was so obscene. Definitely not worth the $ . The state board needs to revoke their license

I hate when people don’t get food orders right. I’m trying really hard not to eat out and make better food choices so when I give myself a cheat meal, I want it made correctly. This rant is because my taco didn’t come with cheese 😂

The music upon ordering is very loud so the girl did not hear me say that I wanted the quesataco and just served me the one without cheese. I feel like the cheese makes such a difference. Overall I enjoy the food from Carlitos, the freshness of the tomato and pickled onions is a nice break from the taco itself.

Unfortunately the service is very inconsistent. Sometimes I get limes, and jalapeños, sometimes I do not. The pictures posted shows additional vegetables that I did not receive today and I feel like this happens often. Today I did not receive limes, jalapeños, or the cheese that I had ordered so I’m a bit dissatisfied with my taco fix.

I’m on a fairly strict diet so when I do decide to have a cheat meal, I would hope it to not disappoint but today it did.

I order some take out. 3 quesatacos. I got a fried fish, chicken and carne asada. And omgggg the fried fish one was my favorite. Very delicious and the chicken was my second favorite. Very well seasoned. The carne asada was good, decent but definitely recommend the fish!

I came here starving looking to get a decent lunch seeing it's a Mexican spot. I got the carne asada steak with rice, beans, cilantro, red sauce and plátano maduro.

Sadly, the only thing that tasted good was the platanos maduros but who can mess up that? Rice was aight, beans were eh, but the steak was warm almost cold, the whole plate itself have little to no seasoning that not even the red sauce could save the food to make it taste better. Just like a former person commented about their meat being under the counter rather than from where the rest of the meat was at the top of the counter, the lady did the same with me which is why I'm suspecting my steak wasn't hot at all.

I honestly expected better from this place given the food court is either Asian food or fast food but sadly it didn't meet my expectations and probably don't plan on coming back to this place for lunch again.

I’ve been coming to the one in GSP since they opened. This is one of my favorite lunch spots.. lately tho, there’s some women that work there that just suck with service. I’ve been tryna give them a chance cause people have bad days.. but now it’s every time I go, one of them is giving me attitude or slapping my food together & the last two times I went, they gave me cold meat. I was just there to get some Lunch & I asked the girl (Kassandra) if that meat was cold cause she was grabbing the meat from under the serving counter.. not the one that’s surface level & she gave me attitude saying it wasn’t cold speaking to me in a tone as if I’m dumb. I sit down to eat & of course the meat is cold & chewy like it’s been sitting there for a minute. Another time she gave me burned rice & I heard her say “esto está quemado” & I asked her kindly to give me from the fresh rice they were about to put into the little silver bin & the other woman Yaro interrupted & said “ not burned.. she wouldn’t give you burned rice” again, in a tone like “no duh”. I never had an issue with the people here. Idk what’s going on with them. Last week I went & Yaro like always had me there waiting at the register for a hot minute while she was talking & recording a girl with a bag over her like a ghost. I smiled & said it was cute to try to be nice but then she took like 3 minutes to take my order cause she hey we’re making a video. Then she finally took my order & continued to talk while I was just waiting there for her to start making my order. There’s been so many times now when I go that she specifically makes me wait as much as possible to take & make my order. I never tip them.. but why would I? The woman with the black hair & glasses is always so sweet & we always greet each other& have a nice small conversation when I go. She’s even offered to make me fresh tortillas ? also the tall light skinned guy is always so kind & ready to take my order. I love this place.. but they’re making the service seem crazy.

So like its my first time ordering here and decided to try out their quesatacos of pulled pork. Dissapointing tbh I asked to have them with everything. It lacked flavor and authenticity. Their meat wasn't seasoned , they gave me a big cold jalapeño asado on the side, and only 2 slices of a lime, no green sauce or red sauce on the side instead they put some tomato sauce on em and it still lacked flavor and no spice. Will not bother eating here again its a no for me.
