Very average food. Hummus is watery. Spicy chicken and rice were only good because I covered it in the spicy zhug sauce. The sauce made the chicken good but on its own would never order again.

This is a great spot in Garden State Plaza. The food is excellent. There are options for everyone. If you are vegetarian, halal only, or meat lover. There is something for everyone.

I could tell the vegetables were fresh and the chicken was marinated, but the grilled chicken rice bowl I got tasted bland. It was like they forgot to add salt & pepper. Lastly, they haven't updated their signage. The price posted said the bowl was $13.30, but I was charged $14 + tax for the bowl.
Very Bad Customer Service even if it’s great food.You can’t call them at all.You can’t use Ubereats, doordash or grubhub. The food will be taking forever and will arrive cold and may be wrong.They don’t have extension on the mall stores listings, because the Don’t need people to call them.Stay away, unless you need to struggle to eat.

Surprisingly very good.. I tried a spicy chicken sandwich and it tasted so good that our Group ended up buying three more! They also had two small tubs of sauces which were fantastic..Not sure the lady at the counter and I understood each other very well.. however the service otherwise was efficient and fast.. and they did display a halal certification (see pic)All in all, a nice unexpected surprise

I thought to try something more healthy and fresh for me and my husband while at the mall picking up nuggets and waffle fries from that red and white fast food place on the other side of the food court we all know for my youngest son. I ordered lamb kofta rice bowl and grilled chicken rice bowl to go. Got home and was pleasantly surprised how nice the food looked even after 20 minute drive home. Salad was nicely in center, drizzled with tahini over the whole platter. I go to those other platter places (JP and HG), and this is now hands down my favorite because the the proteins are not minced up chopped up and unrecognizable like the other places. The chicken was crisped up on the grill so nicely, rice was perfectly fluffy, my older son tried to kofta and he liked it. I like that they were not heavy in the spice department like some other places. Only thing that would have made this over the top is some kind of yogurt/tzatziki type drizzle, and maybe half a grilled pita on the side.
