It may be because I’m from down south but it tasted exactly what I imagined “on the run” Jamaican food would taste like….made quickly. The jerk chicken wasn’t bad, but I’m used to a good seasoning on the meat that can stand alone from the jerk sauce. I’d eat it if I’m hungry though

Our experience was extremely unpleasant, they treated us poorly, they showed us that they have a language barrier by not trying to communicate, the food was cold, the person who served us wanted us to order according to his whims, my husband was very upset.
hungry and chose them and they did not reciprocate in a kind way, however we bought their food and even then we did not receive good treatment we do not recommend this place at all the food and the attention leave a lot to be desired we hope they improve or better close because they have no vocation service

The name of the establishment is fitting, the jerk who was supposed to be tending to me as a paying customer was preoccupied flirting and giving out free chicken wings to anyone passing by wearing a skirt. I should have have walked away, the chicken was to vinegary and dry. Never again.

So, I’m quite skeptical to try a new spot in the food court. Decided to give Jerk Shack Grill a try and I was pleasantly surprised. I got their quarter jerk chicken meal with rice&peas and plantains. The food was flavorful, cooked just right, and left me wanting more. Definitely try this spot which felt homemade instead of the other fast food joints in this mall.

He started by saying ” don't look at the menu look at the food!” And I was completely sold! I am from Costa Rica we have a province call Limón, is a little Jamaican in my country… this plate of food was a little of home in the place I less expect. It was amazing!great job guys!!

The best food and value in the food court! I high five the manager everytime I go. He is fantastic and his food is great ! I have the jerk chicken with the corn /vegetables. There are (2) sizes. Hard to finish the large one ! Just the right amount of spice . Also try his chicken on the bone , it was amazing!

Food is very expensive for it's small portions. Ox tail priced above market price, and jerk is very mild. Worst of all they give 3 PCs of plantains for $6. Wow.
Parking: It's the only good thing about the place. Never again will I order there

Hands down.4 stars on atmosphere cause it's in a mall.BUT!!!!!!if you get a chance to hit the food court this is the one spot that is so good they should have thier own stand alone restaurant. The food at jerk shack grill is so covert flippen amazing you wouldn't think you would get this caliber of flavor at a mall. I've been out here for 4 years and I have FINALLY found a jerk spot I will travel for. If you value your taste buds and love jerk chicken yo this is the spot. I will never go to another in jersey.
