Food is great. Definitely appreciate their chef! I am disappointed with the response from the owner, Freddy. Expressed a concern and he was frank to say that he didn’t particularly care about that one item. Ok. I explained that I am a customer and he pretty much explained that if I didn’t return then that’s that. He was dismissive and it was apparent that he didn’t care. I wasn’t rude when I spoke with him but when you’re spending over $100 at times for take out throughout the year or even if it’s just a pie, how you’re treated leaves an after taste. Definitely doesn’t reflect the work of the staff.

We order pizza from Mangia often usually at my folks house and they typically do a great job. Tonight we ordered at 5:22 pm, I asked if they were delivering (sometimes they don’t have a driver) which was a yes, employee took our address and we were good.
We never got our order so called in to check. Person mentioned it should be out for delivery. Finally we get a call that the order got mixed up…oh well no biggie.
Employee mentioned that will make our order fresh and confirmed the order. My wife went in to pick it up and when we got home the pizza had obviously been reheated and the wings were soggy and old. We found the old ticket when we were finished that was labeled for takeout…my gripe is that they said they would make a fresh order but obviously gave us our old order that had been sitting around for 1.5 hours. Stuff happens I get it l, but rubs the wrong way when fresh food should have been remade (which we were told) but was not.

Absolutely fabulous food and Freddy and Paul make it a welcoming atmosphere. It's not just pizza, folks - virtually everything on the menu is spectacular. The carbonara should be award winning! This little gem is right up there with anything in Bergen County for Italian food. It is BYOB - but right next store to a liquor store. Tutti é bene!

Walked in and was not greeted, we had to ask for someone to help us. It was a bit frustrating when we were met with attitude as why we were there. The best part of this place was leaving and finding a gem house of burrito chicken and pizza off prospect.

The experience at mangia was great. Loved the chicken parm and broccoli rabe sandwich. We tried some zeppolies which were also awesome, and girl at the counter was sweet and attentive.

What a great dining experience from the minute we walked in until we went home extremely happy and content. Food was amazing! We had steak bites, salads, pizza and amazing delicious meatballs. Katerina and her manager were outstanding. Highly recommend!!!
Love coming here on the weekends! The staff is super friendly and always gives great service! Also, has the best pizza in Bergen County! Would not go anywhere else!

This place is incredible. The service is insane. You feel like you’re with your family at home and you feel the warmth-ness of the holidays. So friendly. They know how to space out their courses so you aren’t rushed , they want you to spend quality time in their establishment and be in a good environment for dining. The quality of the food is excellent. Portions are great so you feel satisfied leaving. The quality of their meats and fish dishes is outstanding. You can taste the quality of ingredients. You know you’re getting an outstanding meal every time, and you always feel good walking out of mangia. Ciao Mi Bella!
