This is the worst Indian buffet I ever had. There were hardly 4-5 items and with mediocre tastings. On top of that deceptive billing practices for charging adult pricing to Kids buffet. And then a 15 % service charge. Buffet service charge for what To self-serve my food? Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid this like a plague

When I asked for modification I was told no for few items. Since all items were on menu they could have modified. The server just kept saying no. Unfortunate. They did make things off the menu however like the classic Indian popular dishes

My wife and I were regulars at Mantra before we moved away from NJ four years ago. We had one night back in the area and there was just one restaurant we wanted to experience again. Happily, the food at Mantra was as excellent as ever!!!

Our server was one of the best I’ve had — considerate, knowledgeable, in control. Just wish there was traditional Indian music — just played top 40

Food sucks . We order Dal makhni and Paneer Dish. Paneer dish was full of tomato sauce and dal makhni was ok. One of their server has attitude he behaves like he is the boss and he knows more then everyone. Server attitude is bad. you can find better Indian res in Ridgewood.

Wow this place is a hidden gem! Located on route 4 in Paramus, Mantra is such a classy chic Indian restaurant that has delicious food and a great vibe. Our drinks were amazing and the bar area is gorgeous-perfect for a date night. The restaurant is also chic and feels very upscale. The service was amazing and our waiter explained everything to us. The food was absolutely delicious!! We had some very unique dishes that were amazing. The Avocado Bhel appetizer really stood out-it has rice puffs mixed with avocado, onion, tomatoes, mint & date chutney. So unique and yummy! Also the lamb chops really were a winner and they were soooo tender. Honestly everything was amazing!
