So disappointing! Came on Thursday for lunch, first off the entree comes without rice or naan, seriously? At those prices? The food was ok service was slow, there was only four of us in there at the time. The music was loud and off putting. Will not return

The worst servers and the worst food. They claim that their whole food base is made of cashew base. Seriously??? Which part of India has all foods made with cashew base? The servers are very rude. Prejudiced people. The price is so high for colored fake food. The local truck serves better than you Mantra!

The food is simply awesome, staff is very attentive, and restaurant decor is wonderful.Vegetarian options: Many different vegetarian and vegan optionsDietary restrictions: You can scale the spice as you need
Ate here on Feb 6 2024. Service and Ambiance was fine/good. Food was truly disappointing. This might be the worst Indian food I ever had. Everything was spectacularly bland. We ordered Dal Makhani and Chicken Tika Masala. Two of the standard dishes that every Indian restaurant makes. The Chicken Tika Masala was basically some red bland ketchup, mixed with the Costco Pre-cooked chicken chunks. Dal was lentils cooked fine and with a creamy texture, but missing any seasoning. Our meal had zero spices, seasoning, and salt. Wondering if the B or C cooking team was in the kitchen.

I went to try Indian food, it was just ok for me since I'm not used to their spices. I liked how the place is set up it was nice and clean. The price for the buffet is very reasonable. Service was ok
This restaurant never disappoints. My husband and I have been going to Mantra for many years. We consider it very high end Indian cuisine. It has a beautiful atmosphere and excellent service. The quality and presentation of the food is outstanding. So fresh and delectable!!! It's our all time favorite Indian restaurant in Bergen County.

Had lunch with my wife at Mantra for the first time and the last time. I go for Indian food to taste the wonderful spices of the region infused in the food. The order was very simple chicken tika masala, sag paneer, garlic naan and a hot pickles side. When the waiter took the order he asked if we would like rice with the meal and of course we said yes. The food came out and we both looked at each other after tasting it in disappointment. The tika masala was watery and was so bland. The sag paneer was even worse. If I wanted creamed spinach I would have gone to the local dinner. Throughout the lunch experience I had bug that was annoying and then I looked up at the hanging lamp above us and see the bugs laying dead was a big turn off.And finally we got the check for $74.00 there was a charge of $4.95 for rice. I don't mind paying this amount for lunch if it had any taste worth remembering. My wife said on the way out that I've had better Indian food at Whole foods. With that if you have not tried Manrta Indian restaurant don't wast your money when there are many other Indian restaurant options in the area that are the real.I'm not a big review guy but this had to be written.Don't like getting ripped off when it comes to food.

This restaurant has my heart! They do Indian food right annd the ambiance is amazing too! They sometimes have live music which instantly brightens up this place. We usually order for takeout and this restaurant delivers! Like their food is top notch, paneer is very soft and fresh. Every dish I have ordered from here has been delicious and freshly made. Service is top notch and their appetizers are innovative and beautifully done! Definitely coming back and ordering from here!

This place has excellent service however seemed way too pricey for the portions of food given compared to other nearby Indian restaurants. However the ambiance was nice and its a great spot with parking. We had the shrimp and lamb dish which were tasty, but unfortunately not filling enough. I would recommend checking this place out if you're craving Indian food in a corporate or date setting.
