I expected much more from Tojo’s Kitchen. Everything seemed dumbed down for American pallets and too salty. If you want real authentic Japanese food instead of just frilly decor look elsewhere. This food is for the tourists and weaboos only.
We love the food at Tojo’s Kitchen! The Wagyu sushi is a must try!

The menu is much more extensive than what’s posted outside the restaurant. The kitchen was busy on a Saturday afternoon. I got the clam fish soup ramen and the broth wasnt fishy at all. The ramen was very much Al dente. Also got the Shiso drink, which is very refreshing.

Place looks like warehouse with portable furniture. Donkatsu was not bad but had kiddie portion and Curry Udon taste bland and watered down..

Today, we decided to try it for the first time. We never had a chance to eat but service is meh. We were sat down and were never even told that the menu was the small standee thingy in front of us already, we had to figure it out ourselves. But we were told that the bathroom has a code even though no one asked (it's a good thing). After a few minutes, we were ready to place our order and we kept making eye contact with the two servers but they just kept continuing on cleaning. The store was not busy at all so we aren't sure why they kept wanting to clear the tables when there are no customers to seat and about 70% of the seats are empty. I used to be a server and i drop everything i do when i can once i see a customer waive or make eye contact looking like they need something. Or at least tell them i will be right there or just a minute. I would understand if the place was busy but it really wasn't at all. We were not even asked if we wanted anything to drink or what. Sooooooo we left, they lost potential regular customers. End of story.

Took too long to be served, I'm not sure what's going on with kitchen and the crew looked frazzled, maybe the crew is new to service. Retraining needed imho.
