The restaurant is usually not busy, probably because it is located at the end of a hallway. The restaurant is very very spacious. Each table is like a mile away from each other. Music was fire. The food is great. The ramen was one of the best I had. The eggs, the green onions were so fresh. The vegetables were really really fresh. I cannot repeat enough that this place is great. Even though it's hidden, I would definitely go again.

Terrible experience! The ramen here is the worst we’ve ever had. We arrived at 12:00 for lunch, the restaurant was empty. We were four and ordered 4 different ramen. We asked them NOT to put egg in the vegetarian one and said it few times. When the food came 30 min later, they had still put egg in the vegetarian ramen! The fish Ramen was tasteless. The egg was cold with ice inside! And NO! the egg should not be that cold as the waitress said, it should be at room temperature. We sent back two of the plates as the noodles were in clumps and half cooked. They came back after another 15 min and were no better. They charge 18$ for a ramen that has two very small pieces of meat and the rest is cheap noodles.
The only time I ever tipped 0$. Will not be back!

I’ve been going to Tojo since they opened, being the better tasting and most convenient of locations of where I live. I hope I’m not seeing it slowly fall off. My experience today was a part 2 of a prior time I went there and felt something was off. My wife and I get the exact same order every time we attend garlic ramen, and miso ramen. We don’t like the texture of the meat so we always get it replaced with karaage/fried chicken. I seen a spike in price but was in a rush to investigate which led me to my part 2. Got the same order again and again with the price spike. I asked the server for the receipt in which they’re now charging for the substitute of meat which never was a thing. If you’re subbing something isn’t it up to the server to inform the customer that there will be an addition so there won’t be any surprises? I’ve also noticed every ramen increased $2 in addition to they having a whole new menu which 50% is blanked out for not being available. Idk what’s going on there as of late but I won’t returning for some time!

Food was great, I had the Pork Chashu Don and garlic soy Korean wing, very tasteful. Also I had the water eel onigiri and was the bomb. Perfect place to eat at the mall!

I’m no stranger to Japanese/Korean cuisine and this place does not disappoint. It tasted incredibly fresh and the spice on the Korean style boneless wings was delicious. It’s a hidden gem inside the garden state plaza. I’ll recommend 10/10.

They have great ramen. Their cloud mango drink was amazing. Loved the vibe there!

Came for some ramen at lunch time. We were greeted and seated right away. Spacious and clean restaurant.

They have updated their menu. Onigiri comes with many different options for inside ingredients. Spicy chicken is good, flavor has a small kick. Salmon feels short, very blend. I feel seaweed is not fresh. Not crispy at all.

Tonkatsu ramen is amazing as always. I add the veggie gyoza (+$5) on the side. Really good and flavorful.

Service is great. Very attentive and friendly. Food comes out quick. Bathroom is not working, but there's one right outside by the mall concierge area.
