One of the best empanada I’ve had!! SO good - great little lunch spot around town
I was completely taken aback today by the treatment at Pop Empanada. There was a mixup with our order and they were incredibly rude and unaccommodating to our food allergies. There aren’t many options in the area for empanadas so if you’re craving one, don’t want to travel far and customer service isn’t important to you then I guess this place can work. But if you care about being treated well as a customer I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition.
