This place is absolutely amazing. I have been here twice and both times the food was spectacular. The only thing better than the food here is the fantastic customer service. I happened to be craving empanadas one night and I drove by to pick up some and realized they were having a reserved dining night and when I walked in I was told they closed the kitchen and were not taking takeout orders.I was bummed but understood; on the way out I believe the owner stopped me and asked me what I wanted to eat. I told him my order and around 10 mins later he showed up outside and hand delivered me empanadas on the house! I was so grateful and was utterly shocked at how accommodating he was. absolutely amazing place with an even more amazing staff. 10/10 recommend! :)

Apart from Empanadas being delicious, there was an issue with the delivery vendor and the staff and owners went above and beyond to make sure I received my food on time. Really recommend this place!

The claim is Chilean food. Never have I eaten Chilean food, although I have eaten Latino food for years and, in fact, cook it all the time. The flavor profile was not to my liking. The seasoning was overwhelming. I ordered a cuban sandwich. The pernil (pork shoulder) was burned and tasted awful. I had many cuban sandwiches in the past but never as bad as this one. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich. A little better but only a little. The name says empanadas. Well, we ordered chicken and beef for a tasting bad to average flavor. To add insult to injury, they don't sell Coka Cola but sell a Coke product, Sprite. Go figure! Not a keeper. Will not return.

Great night at the supper club. No brainer option to have on your Bergen County go to list. A cool pop art vibe in a local empanada shop by day turned into an elegant tasting menu a few nights per week. Husband and wife team are welcoming and manage the service with a great chef. BYO makes it more reasonable and the 85.00 pre fix well worth the experience. A few supplements are added if you want to go further. We added a dozen oysters and shared the wagyu which were both awesome. The menu is posted so it is easy to see whether it is interesting to you. Meat centric but not heavy at all. Every dish was amazing...cool highlight...peppercorn almond brittle sprinkled on the beet goat cheese salad is brilliant. Menu changes every 3 weeks. Added bonus easy parking quiet spot in Park Ridge makes the night stress free. Add this spot to your restaurant rotation!

What a gem 💎! Who knew this sweet and savory little spot was here? I’m in Midland park and I could have easily gone across into Patterson. I wanted a twist and found myself at Pop Empanadas for their most wonderful unique twist on the traditional empanadas. Thank you very much. It’s a bit of a winding road to get there but well worth. All the best and see you soon.
My coworker always brings food and I usually google what’s around our site. Yesterday, I saw Pop! Empanada and after reading the reviews I knew I had to try it out. Today we stopped in and I tried 4 different flavors, all phenomenal. My coworker even grabbed one and talked about bringing his partner here on a day off. While eating, the owner brought us over a brisket empanada for each of us to try and so far it’s my favorite. We’ll be back a few more times until our site is finished and I know I might take the trip here on a day off as well.
Also, for some reason Apple Maps says it’s closed, but that’s simply not true. I’m glad I followed my gut and drove there anyway.

Honestly was nervous to try, as two parents who never get out and want to make it good when we do - but this exceeded any sort of dining we would have had anywhere else. The six course menu was so exciting from the start and then found out there were special add ons as well! Owners were so accomodating, friendly and overall had the most amazing experience regular menu fine dining couldn't offer. If you're ready to try new things you never knew you liked, I highly suggest this as a unique date night outside the norm!

Great ambience and service. The food was uniquely prepared and delicious. There wasn't a dish I didn't devour! Loved how intimate it felt and that the staff, chef and owner all introduced themselves and checked up on us. I can't wait to go back!

This was our 2nd visit and it was even better than our first 5* experience. The menu, food quality/preparations and the service at a very high level. In conversation we learned tonight that one of the owners has been influenced by his visits to and connections to Noma. This is not The Bear but the commitment here to performing at the very highest level is obvious as well. Can't wait to get back.

If a one to five rating scale is the best, this incredible place gets a 10!!!! From the welcoming owners, the comforting ambiance, and the best tasting menu in Bergen County and I'm sure far beyond. Every course was a culinary experience on its own. My wife and I will return many more times!!!!
