10/10 in every area. The octopus was AH-MAZING, as were the lobster rolls. The service was even better, if that’s possible! Such a great group — so welcoming and kind (and fun). Will definitely be back!

Rejoice, this is one of those restaurants that simply does not miss — even with takeout, which by its very nature suffers a smidge from the cooling and in-container steaming. Everything is good, and I've tried most of the menu at this point. Three cheers for the staff (who are extremely friendly and accommodating) before I detail the food AKA why you're reading this at all.
Pro Tip — Take advantage of the specials. The delightful mainstays will be there when you come back (and you will)
THE ESSENTIALS
> RHODE ISLAND CALAMARI — For you traditionalists, you'll still enjoy what is perfectly-cooked calamari with a banging marinara. For the boundary-pushers, you're also getting a nice lil stickysweet dipping sauce and fried accoutrement. Everyone wins.
> SAUTEED MUSSELS — I won't even explain these in hopes the intrigue alone compels you to try them. Just do it. Even if you're allergic to shellfish. For legal reasons, I will clearly state that this is a joke, but seriously tho, these are so good.
> RISOTTO — I get it with scallops bc hello, scallop risotto? How chic. And I come back to it time and time again because it is scallop risotto done Perfectly
> FISH AND CHIPS — Funny story. My mom is TRYING to try everything on the menu but she keeps ordering the fish and chips bc it's so good. She's bothered by this, but it's a good thing.
> STEAK FRIES — I know, I know, steak fries usually suck. I used to think so until I tried these. Millenia of potato cultivation has led us to this, their finest application yet.
> STUFFED SOLE — The beauty of the Pier @ 192 broils, but with a #Dazzling, dill-laden filling. I love her with all my heart.
> BROILS — Whichever you choose, know you are choosing correctly. Talk about rich and buttery. It ain't health food, but that's what keeps me coming back.
With the essentials out of the way, some other things I can personally attest to. While they didn't make the Essentials list, they are no less fantastic.
- (app) coconut shrimp
- (app) grilled octopus
- (main) fried clam strips
- (main) lobster roll
- (main) filet tips (yes, land-critters at the seafood place...)
- (main) fish tacos
- (main) lobster ravioli
You'll notice that most of the menu is within this review. Like I said, given what/how much I've tried, I'm confident everything here is fantastic.

This place is amazing! Excellent food and awesome service. Great staff! Kudos to all. I was introduced to this place by a good friend and I have been going back since then. Head chef is always checking on us - takes pride on food he serves. Now for our favorites: Rhode Island Calamari, New England Clam Chowder, Lobster Roll (LR is a given), Lobster Fettuccini, Fish and Chips (also a given)! On our last visit, we tried the escargot on the special menu. My son order the Cod Father he loves it too. The food pasta platter is also a must try! I enjoyed it a lot! ALL are delicious! Pictures are from our last visit.

Please explain, why, when i went to the Pier website and made a reservation online, was told they don't take online reservations? This seems a little ridiculous to me. Take down your website. VERY DISAPPOINTED

The place really doesn't look like much from the outside. I have driven by a number of times and told my wife I wanted to go in and yesterday we finally did. Beth seated us and made us feel comfortable from the onset. The food with respect to portion size, price and most of all taste was truly amazing. We shared an order of the crab cakes, and I am impressed. These were probably the tastiest crab cakes I've ever eaten. They were actually Crab! Not a stuffing or bread crumb patty, but a legit patty of crabmeat... with some breadcrumbs!
My wife had the Mahi Mahi Tacos and says they were better than the same in Mexico!
I had the broiled Cod, and the serving was well above average size in other places. My dish was cooked to perfection and the meat just melted in your mouth. The side salads we had were Caesars and Beth once again came through with the recommendation for those. The dressing was delicious.
