Cheese fries are made with cheese whiz so I wasn’t a fan. The cheese burger was the size of my palm which shocked me because of the price. I told my husband that I was bringing him a cheese burger for lunch but had to say never mind because of how small it was. He would have laughed all the way home? For both cheese fries and tiny cheese burger it was $15 plus. I won’t be visiting again based off the price and portions. They also only take cash but they have a convenient ATM...
This was the first time back to Don & Bert's in 27 years and it hasn't really changed much. It was so good back then and still is. I grew up going on a Friday night for some cheese fries and a pb shake. Still as good as I remember. I hope this place is around forever. Paulsboro's little gem!!!!
I remember it like it was yesterday when I enjoyed their first meals followed by the ice cream cones,gelaties,plain water ice, and slurpee slushies with one of my favorite sodas. And I never came back to try a root beer float right along with some of the other foods on the menu that looks really good with some other things plus the milkshakes also.
