Tiny menu. Rude terribly mannered staff. Waited over 25 minutes for a beer and to place our order. They sat us so close to each other that we could cut up food without elbows being in the person next to your food. Asked to add another table to ours and they refused us. Didn't come back for 30 minutes after we finished eating to get dessert order. By then, no one wanted dessert aside from the kids. Ordered the kids Gelato and 25 minutes later it still wasn't served. Wouldn't go there ever again.

Always consistent. Good food. A local restaurant that is a treasure to find. Love the lively bar area. Rich, the owner is always present to stop by ur table. Amanda, server/ bartender makes the best drinks.

Great meal! Could have ordered just appetizers and been plenty full! Brussel sprouts were fantastic. Service was great and lemoncello to finish the meal was a nice touch!

My husband and I went to a fundraiser here for the first time and enjoyed everything about this hidden gem. We had the chicken parmigiana which was a large enough portion for several meals. The tiramisu was amazing as well. Will definitely be back to enjoy a wonderful home cooked meal.

I'm a word - delicious! Make a reservation because even on a Sunday they're packed. The Brussels and the gnocchi appetizer could've been enough for my dinner. Then the Sunday gravy - yum! Only downside- there was so much garlic in the salad dressing and it was way overdressed - next time I'd ask for it on the side. Waitress was so busy, it looked like she was handling the whole place on her own - but very efficient and our food came quickly. There were several dishes we wanted to try so we will return.

No dishes were cleared at any point during the meal, food took over 1 hour to come out. Waited several times for drinks, water was empty and never refilled. Service was very poor and ruined the entire experience.

As always another fabulous meal. Everything from the crusty Italian bread to the tiramisu was delicious. Great combination of flavors and textures. You must go and try the fried Brussels sprouts, arancini and fried calamari appetizers. And the short rib ragu with pappardelle pasta is to die for. Can’t wait to dig into my leftovers! Whether it’s a date night, girls’ night out or a special occasion you will be so happy you chose Osteria 545!

Mostly great. Our friend's entree came out cool but she should have asked to have it rewarmed. Slightly more expensive than other Italian restaurants but seems like the portions are bigger too. The complimentary limoncello was a treat!

The other reviews said 4.5 stars and we absolutely agree. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding. We especially liked the bread with a sun dried tomato and olive oil dip that was served on arrival. The roasted brussel sprouts with goat cheese appetizer was delicious. We both had a pasta dish and the sauces were very good. We appreciated the conversation we had with the owner. Overall we had a great experience and will add this to our usual stops. We did not drink at the bar but it is also well done with a good selection of alcohols. Highly recommened. I would recommend they dim the dining room lights slightly more but it was nice to be able to read the menu without a flashlight.

Great food, great service and the best long island

Hidden gem! Everything we had from the home made bread, gnocchi appetizer to the Sunday Gravy entree and crab with cabatelli was truly delicious. Will return soon. Service was top tier and prices were amazing for the quality of the food. Highly recommend.

Food was delicious as always. My husband and I split three appetizers and each got a salad. The owner is always there, go to tables, greeting guests and asking if they enjoyed their meal.
