Stopped into the diner a week ago on a trip from Virginia to New Jersey. Picked the spot randomly from Google Maps and it turned out to be a winner. Wouldn't expect much from outer appearances, but the food and service were excellent. A true small town diner, where you're made to feel welcome as soon as you walk into the place. Very relaxed, with quick and friendly service. My wife and I both had the Paulsboro Omelette, because when in Paulsboro... Very good. Browsing around, several of the other tables' dishes looked good, as well (especially the pancakes). We're going to have to find an excuse to get back there soon.

Extremely disappointed with this place! They have a really difficult time getting delivery orders correct. I ordered pancakes with extra butter. Got the pancakes. Did not get any butter and did not get any pancake syrup. No pancake syrup? REALLY! I also ordered a side of bacon. I didn't get any bacon. They charged for it, it's on the receipt. Oh, I didn't get any utensils either. I also ordered a veggie omelet and another side of bacon. Got the omelet but the bacon was a broken crumbled pile. seemed like it might have once been 4 pieces but thats a guess because I didn't try to reassemble them. This isn't the first time they carelessly filled an order for me but it is the first time I decided to call them about it. I was mad and told the guy it wasn't the first time they F-d up one of my orders. Didnt call him any name, just that they F-d up orders before. He said, I don't know what you want me to do and hung up on me. How about check the order before it goes out? How about offering to make it right? How about offering a refund? How about saying Sorry? For what they charge I think they can afford to take a minute to check the order to make sure it's correct. Bye bye Paulsboro Diner! You've become a real disaster all around. Quality, service and value!

I was looking for a small little hidden gem, and I found it at the Paulsboro Diner. I had great conversation, delicious food and the service was top-notch. Did I say friendly, haven’t been to a friendlier eatery in years.
