Their coffee drinks are never more than lukewarm and are essentially cold minutes after purchase. Very annoying and disappointing. Other than that the place is fine.

I came here today looking for some real food and not just sugary excess. I am delighted that I did. I ordered a quiche which turned out to have bacon in it. I returned it (because I am vegetarian) and the business graciously did not charge me for it. I ordered a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin (which soon brought its twin after it). Very few establishments get coffee right and I have to say this is one of them. The muffin was just the right size, was filled with fruit and had very little added sugar (sure felt like it). I will definitely visit again.

Some days the muffins are really good, and some not so much. Muffins can be overcooked and literally one blueberry in their blueberry muffin.

Amazing little place that focuses on French pastries and then some. There is no question about it that the quality of these baked goods are top-notch and I always look forward to visiting when I can. It’s great to see a bakery also making fresh sandwiches and soups on the daily.
Because this is a review and an opportunity to share feedback, I would like to take advantage in point out that they have to do something with how they control their queue to order and pay.
The space is not huge, and I even thought about it myself, but if you get customers that don’t know the system, they can cause a roadblock very quickly, making it very hard to maneuver in the bakery.
I encourage you to try it for yourself. You can forget about eating when it’s busy. Just my preference, but I love to order and grab a seat outside when the weather is nice.

Service is terrible especially from 3 specific women behind the counter. Rude for no reason and just overall making stupid decisions when speaking to customers. Reoccurring.
Quiche, gelato chocolate mousse is good

I used to love this place! I have been coming to this place since I moved to the area in 2016. However, either the owner doesn’t care anymore or the employees are contributing to the decline of the service. I always get all my cakes, French macarons, cookies and croissants, for all my multiple parties from this place. Like usual I stopped by on a Monday to place an order for a party on Saturday, but the place was closed, due to the “heat wave’, I was OK and told myself, no problem I’m a regular and I’ll call the next day to place my order, well I call in to place the order and a very rude lady on the phone said they couldn’t accommodate, because the orders are supposed to be 5 days in advance. I told her that I would have met the deadline, if they didn’t close for a “heat wave” and that it wasn’t my fault. She responded, “well it’s not my fault either that the management decided to close and the owner said she cannot do it”. What kind of response is this to a regular customer, who buys all my pastries from this place? I like to support local, but I WILL NEVER GO BACk TO THIS PLACE… I ended up driving to Ladure at Short Hills and got all the French macarons from a real Parisian store, who didn’t give me an attitude on my order. Definitely this place has become Cocosucks!
Toooooo good and delicious!
Obviously N.J. Magazine never came here. I've tried many of their bakery pics, but not a one is as good as Cocoluxe. After starting to nosh my 1st purchase, I turned right around and bought $85 more baked goods. This stuff finally tastes as good as it looks. NJ is blessed with artistic pastry chefs but finding one who delivers flavor worthy of the calories is akin to searching for the Holy Grail. Cocoluxe finally delivers what we've been searching for. However, when I asked if the chocolate croissants were loaded with lots of deep dark chocolate or with just a typical modest strip or so, my counter rep suggested I skip it. I did. On the other hand, in my life, including what I conjure up myself with Guitard chips, I've never discovered a better more intense iced cocoa drink. This is not for the faint of heart or Swiss Miss fans. If you crave a mouthful of deep, dark, bitter chocolate, this is a drink you'll drive 20 miles to savor. It's for purists, arrogant elitist chocolates. This is the place.
Delicious!! Prices were cheap !!
This lovely cafe/bakery was recommended by a local shop while visiting from North Jersey. What a delight! Fabulous soup and sandwiches. Coffee and sweets to go…we will definitely be back! Thank you for your personalized service.
