I haven’t eaten in but it’s a beautiful place. Their food is the best you’ll get anywhere around Pennington!

Been coming here for a while now it’s been a minute since I’ve been here because I started a different job, but I started back working at the same place so now I drive through here again figured I stopped in because their food has always been pretty good. there was a new gentleman there younger kid who was really rude to me and I ordered a combination platter, but I wanted him to put the ribs in a separate container because the ribs barbecue gets all over the rice and it makes it not so good And he gave me an attitude and told me that that’s why it’s a platter if I get a platter. It has to be together because if not a separate then he has to charge me like if it wasn’t a platter which is ridiculous. I’ve been eating Chinese food For over 35 years and have never had a Problem or be treated this way before I will never come here again and for this restaurant when y’all read this, you have to teach that little kid some respect and how to treat customers, especially when we’re the ones to support you guys in this community
Quick and delicious
Sesame chicken was very subpar. The saucy and everything was great... the actual chicken was spongy like tofu and didn't have that chicken texture. Tasted like a low quality pass off of white meat.
Very delicious chicken and broccoli, great price, hotnsour was not to my personal liking but all very fresh

Great take out spot, I lived in NYC for a couple of years and this is still my favorite American-Chinese restaurant.

hard to find a good american-chinese restaurant that isn’t over priced and tastes bad. first time ordering from Cheng’s and won’t be my last! got the chicken fried rice, perfect amount of chicken, not so much that it’s just straight chicken ??. also the sweet and sour chicken with the sauce on the side, the chicken is super tender! also the breading is nice and crispy and light, not too doughy. the broccoli garlic is classic, not too spicy but still flavorful. we placed a pick up order through the phone and the woman who took our order was very nice and easy to understand. we received everything in our order and it was hot and fresh. if you’re new to the princeton area and want classic comfort chinese food, skip tiger noodles and order from Cheng’s Kitchen????

I took out for the first time in a year and the dumplings are different and the food was terrible. I was so surprised because it’s always been delicious.

I guess it's Chen's Kitchen now? That's what the newest menu said (see pics). Anyways, the steamed spicy wontons are amazing ?. The hot & sour soup and Hunan Chicken were about the same as everyone else. The Szechuan Chicken was packed full of cabbage? and also very very boring. It's OK for a neighborhood "Chinese" food place, but I'm not going out of my way to stop here. Service was A+, the atmosphere was like a terrible hotel lobby.

A satisfying joint for hot and tasty Chinese food, with excellent bean curd and vegetables, yummy vegetable lo mein, and generous chicken with broccoli. Down to earth dining area and kind service. Entrees served to go; get comfy and enjoy an authentic Jersey roadside experience. Quality egg rolls.
Vegetarian options: Vegetable lo mein is a hit

If I could give a zero for service I would. Probably the worst Chinese spot in all of Nj. They don’t even give a fork or napkin with their food: I walked all the way back and the child at the front; mind you child: this person got to be like 12 years old goes well you didn’t ask for one. Like what kind of service is that. Also the prices are a rip off the combo doesn’t even come all the way full it’s 80% rice and 20% chicken for $15
