We had our wedding at Strawberry Hill Mansion at Baldpate Mountain, catered by Chez Alice and managed through Harvest Hospitality Group, and we could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the day ran so smoothly, everyone was on time, and the entire team worked together beautifully. The grand charcuterie display was absolutely stunning and delicious, the views were breathtaking, and the pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality and service we received.
The food was fantastic. We chose a buffet-style dinner, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also added on a taco station which was a hit with our guests! Who doesn’t love a good taco station?? Desert and cake made by Kelly from Midnight Moon Cakery was beautifully decorated. She came with backup flowers for the cake thank goodness because we did not have enough!
What really sets this venue and team apart is their kindness and flexibility. Just three weeks before our original date on May 17, 2025, my husband was in a serious accident. We had to move our wedding to September 21, and Jason and the Harvest Hospitality team could not have been more accommodating and compassionate. They even offered to cater a small lunch for us so we could still have a simple ceremony at the venue we absolutely love on our wedding date that we had originally picked on May 17th. My husband was on crutches that day, but it meant the world to us to still have that special moment and then come back in September to celebrate properly when he was able to dance at our wedding. It was SUCH a special day.💕
We cannot thank Jason, Julie, Kelly, and the entire team enough for helping make both of our wedding days (yes, plural! 😂) so special. I’d also like to thank this team for their patience as we navigated rescheduling our wedding on such short notice after my husband’s accident. So, from the food to the service to the setting, everything was perfect. Working with Julie was wonderful - she responded to our numerous questions and helped us craft the menu of our dreams for our Brunch-style wedding reception. In this, Chez Alice not only provided our catering but also offered support as we planned our wedding reception. Our guests have continued to talk about the food we enjoyed, especially the Fried Chicken & Waffle skewer passed appetizer! Jason catered my 50th Princeton University Reunion. This was a three day event. Thursday lunch and dinner, Friday three meals, And Saturday three meals. For the Friday and Saturday dinners we had 650+ people. The food and service received rave reviews. Frankly, there was not one negative comment. The food, amount and variety, was excellent. The service was seamless. Jason did a great job working with us on menu selection leading up to the event. I have happily recommended them to next year’s 50th Reunion planners. I will certainly use them again.

Having a wedding in 2020 presented many unique challenges due to COVID restrictions. However, we decided to move forward with our plans.We chose to have our ceremony and reception at Strawberry Hill Mansion on Baldpate Mountain. It is a lovely setting with various outbuildings to use for capturing great photos. If you are looking for a unique location, this is it! Nice building with an enclosed porch leading out to a stone terrace. Plenty of room for a band or DJ and dancing.Chez Alice is the exclusive caterer for this venue. Working with Jason Dycus was a pleasure. He shared menu options, and we easily selected our entrees. He helped with the linens, tent, and outside heater rentals.We used Midnight Moon Cakery for the wedding cake and other desserts.The food and the desserts were amazing! We had several compliments from our guests about the delicious food. The staff that served the food was friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. I highly recommend Chez Alice.

Chez Alice Catering did my daughter's high school graduation and they did not disappoint. From the beginning Jason was a pleasure to work with, after a short conversation on the phone, He had a full menu planned. Everytime I called to make changes someone always answered and able to assist me with any changes. The morning did not start out so great, mother nature strikes with thunderstorms, but after many prayers and positive thoughts we had a gorgeous day. Janice and her husband arrived earlier to do a walk through my house and put together a game plan before the chef and other staff members arrived. The way this company works together is amazing. The level of respect and professionalism they show towards one another is amazing. The chef prepared an elegant meal. The food was delicious and abundance. Chez Alice goes above and beyond to ensure that your event goes smoothly and your guests have a great time. They packed up the left overs and left my house spotless. I this was the first time I had a full Catering at my home and I am really excited to use them in the future.
