We had a nice lunch. The food arrived appropriately hot and each member of our party had a different meal and was pleased. One thing I don't like when eating out is when the server doesn't clear the plates when the guests have finished eating. That step wasn't taken as immediately as I would have liked.

We've eaten at Villa Francesco's on more occasions than I can count. We love Italian food and have eaten at innumerable Italian restaurants in this area, in New York City, as well as in Italy. V.F's has never disappointed and has always left us with the impression that the Chefs here are not just competent, but, on a higher level, really understand food, understand cooking, understand their ingredients and how they work together. They really know what they are doing. I've seen other, less enthusiastic reviews, and I know that no place is perfect, but V.F's is as close as you're going to get.

We eat there often and are never disappointed. The food is delicious and the service is very professional. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Additionally, I had a catered affair there for Chrismas Eve and it was wonderful. There were 19 people who are still raving about the food and service...which is so rewarding on a night that the restaurant was crowded with many groups celebrating.

Villa Francesco's is a very nice Italian restaurant and pizzeria. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable. This is a BYOB. In general, thr food was very good. The veal parm was excellent with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The calamari was ok (a little underdone), but the sauce was excellent. The menu salads were large and flavorful. We did not have the included house salad. The included bread could was cold. We would have preferred it warmed. Tables are spaced well with white table linens and good napkins. The ceilings are high so it lacked some ambiance, but the room maintained a good temperature. Service was attentive and helpful. We liked that all of the entrees arrived at the table simultaneously. This appeared to be true for any size table.
Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building. Accessible from both the side and main street

Having lived in central NJ my whole life, I consider Villa Francesco’s to have the best Italian food around. We rarely eat at the restaurant anymore, so I cannot speak to the service and atmosphere strongly (my wife and I used to love to go sit outside before it became more common after COVID!) but the food is always good. It was almost a year before I had tried anything on the standard menu because their specials were always so amazing! Now, we order takeout and cater regularly. Everything is delicious. Our favorites are the shrimp & scallop di mare and eggplant parmigiana, but I have yet to order something that has not been a crowd pleaser. If you want high quality Italian food, this is the place to go.

Really. Really good food! Update....still really good food. They need a vegan menu, then I would go all the time. Actually they did have 1. And all you have to do is tell em you want clams casino but hold the clam. I took the shells home! Oh did I forget that the servers that took care of us Saturday night were just awesome. Actually everyone that works there were great. Thanks again. ?
