“Decided to stop in after a tour visit to Montclair University and receiving a gift card for Christmas. Everything was delicious. We ordered brisket fries,cheese fries, smash patty melt, Montclair Blue Burger, build your own burger and 3 shakes. Everything was amazing including the burger buns (fluffy and airy). I wish they were closer to us, Old Bridge could definitely use a really good burger place.“

Was a tad pricey...two people two burgers two fries one fountain drink one medium hot chocolate. 30.00 but honestly...it didn't matter...if you got this at a restaurant you would not blink at that price. Again. Delicious. Only reason it's NOT five stars is because of price/location expectation. At the end of the day, as good as it is...it's a supermarket. Be careful if you try and take a date there for Valentine's Day!! They better be really cool lol“

“This is the second time we’ve had Samar as our server, and he’s just wonderful! He’s so attentive, friendly, and always has a big smile on his face. We came in for the Triple Chocolate Meltdown (which is always a favorite!), but having Samar take care of us made it even better. The service here is always great. Our food comes out quickly, our orders are always right, and even the manager stopped by to check on us. This place really has that cozy, hometown restaurant vibe that makes you want to come back again and again!“

With an assorted buffet menu and a live band, our members had a memorable evening in the private room of Tavern 73. The cash bar was very busy, and people raved about the food as they left this 4-hour event. Special thanks to Kaya and Gail for the excellent job they did to help to organize and execute this event. “This was the best blizzard I've ever had. All other dairy queens I've been to have made me either wrong blizzards or liquidy blizzards and God forbid they ever flip it as the dairy queen motto says. They brought us the blizzards, flipped it in front of us and they were better tasting than any blizzards I've ever had. The food was fantastic, better than any fast food place I've ever been to. I am astonished by the quality of this place. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that it isn't closer to my house.“

“What a place with an old time feel! They are on their game, we ordered on the road 10 minutes out and when we showed up our food was waiting for us. After looking around the building, they have a great condiments bar for all your needs! All the employees were working to get people their food and everything from the kitchen that was on the shelf for customers looked awesome! We got cheese burger clubs and some dogs, which were awesome! Bathrooms and everything was very clean and these guys definitely pay attention to detail on everything! In conclusion, all the food we had was great and these guys will see a surge in patronage as word of mouth goes along way. We just stopped in for a quick lunch on coming home from the beach, and the place continued to fill up as we were there! Johnny, Christos, and company are doing a great job and we will be back very often, because their food and menu options are that good! As I am writing, my wife continues to tell me about the food choices available from the Lantern, which is making me hungry as I write this! You boys have a great thing going and keep it up as we will be continuous customers moving forward!

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.“
