Classic NJ Dinner with well known dinner breakfast taste. The service is standout as everyone is nice and happy to chat with you about their day to days.

If you have time to sit or you need to grab food and go you will enjoy it either way.

Delicious food. We had the mile high sandwich. Excellent waitress and a delightful personality as a bonus. There was a long line for tables but the wait was surprisingly short. Ample parking, even with heavy Saturday lunch turnout.

Bus boy set up place mats on top of menus as we sat down, as I asked him to wait a second so I could move them menus he just ignored me and kept going. Then while I'm in the men's room a woman walks in without knocking or checking and grabs some cleaning solution. Now I remember why we haven't been here in a decade.

So this is on 3 different visits, This place is way off the mark, cheap watered down coffee, I tried both regular and decade, horrible, so today I walked in and was seated by a nice elder server, than this Spanish lady came in and just like started bossing everyone around so unprofessional, anyway lets talk about service as I was stating I was seated and ordered eggs bacon toast coffee this was at 10 am October 9 the 2024 the put my order into the kitchen meanwhile there was only like 4 customers in Pompton Queen, I waited over 33 minutes all while this Bossy woman just directing traffic and never checking in on me, I walked up paid for the coffee and left a 5 dollar tip for my server she is not at fault the diner is as well as the Bossy manager, the kitchen has no excuse for why a Breakfast that should have taken no longer than 10 minutes max 33 minutes with all other 5 customers having there food and coffee!! Now about 4 months ago went there with our daughter and wife and the same thing happens, brought the wrong food 3 different times but we roll with it because its local, then about 6 months ago the same concerns again, now I will say this because they are the only game in town they are just collecting cash hand over fist and do not really care about anything anymore, only the one nice fellow, I continued to go for the kids!

Great place to have a good meal the owner is very nice.

Very standard diner. Got the 2 eggs platter, coffee and oj. Food was good, no complaints. The home fries were more like a hash but decently seasoned compared to other diners.

Staff and service is good. They were very attentive and refilled on my drinks as needed

Ambience was good and it was decently packed with regulars which is always a good sign

The kale and quinoa salad here is beyond amazing—I can't even describe it! If you're a salad lover, this is a must-order. It's my go-to dish, and I find myself craving it all the time!!
