What a treasure! In Pburg, but worth the trip, right across the "Free Bridge". The bagels are legit, we will try the "Bloomin' Bagel" next time, Pecan Sticky Bun, Chic Chip Cookie and the unique and very yummy Shortbread with Banana Icing are ALL Great! Oh, and the Tomato Pie was one of the best I've ever had.

Called and spoke to the owner to get ideas to place an order for a party. She was not helpful at all. I tried to ask her for suggestions for stuff for a dessert table and she flat out told me she doesn't know what I am looking for. And I asked if she had suggestions not helpful at all. So I proceeded to say I guess I will contact somewhere else then and she said ok fine. So here you try and support local businesses but when you have that kind of rudeness who would want to give anyone business like that! There is Easton Baking not to far from them and who has been there for years so I guess I will reach out to them and give them the business!!!!

I have a little story to explain why I would recommend this place…
I am a Canadian truck driver, I deliver just up the street from this bakery quite often and I had decided to walk down to grab a coffee. Making small talk with the lady at the counter about the heat and I had absentmindedly mentioned how sleeping on the street the previous night was horrendous, I was sleeping in my bunk in the truck, parked on the street. Anyways I’m sitting outside on their patio enjoying my coffee and bagel when the owner comes out visibly upset that I was sleeping on the street and offering to help in whatever way she could(thinking I meant I was literally sleeping on the sidewalk) While it was a funny misunderstanding, I have to say the fact that she was upset and wanting to help a complete stranger who she thought was in need is incredible and I would recommend anyone to stop here, even if her baking was horrible(which it isn’t, the bagels are fantastic) I would still recommend based on her kindness alone!

Came in late in the day, got a nice soft sesame bagel with chive cream cheese, and a small coffee. Was perfect!

I never like to say something is the best I've ever had, because I can't remember every instance of eating something, but I can confidently say this bakery has the best baked goods I've ever eaten, and I've eaten A LOT of baked goods. I just finished eating a cherry pie pastry; it was unbelievably good, and I don't even really like cherries. I have no idea how they manage to achieve such intensely good flavor, but everything I eat is somehow better than the last.Also, far and away the best bagels in the area.
The BEST bagels in the Lehigh Valley! I have tried almost anywhere that sells bagels here and these are the very very best. One problem they sell out early they are so good!

We got the blooming bagel (chive) and it was slamming lol! It was delicious, but massive - we were able to split it between 3-4 people. Lol. My girls picked out pecan rolls and a cinnamon roll with chocolate. We would go back on the weekend for sure, because unfortunately the hours are while we are at work.

Super impressed with the few items purchased at the Bake Shop. Bagels impressive, chewy soft delicious flavor. Tomatoe pie, and Cinnamon rolls as well-not too sweet & excellent topping flavor. Really impressed by this young lady’s baking! So happy I stopped in! And so friendly too. I wish this bakery well! Support local ?????
