We adore this place ! Plz go and try the sole almandine. We have never had a bad meal here. The service staff is so nice and attentive. The wine pour is a generous portion

Always excellent service and food! Nice choice of seating areas: in the classy bar area or out in a brighter, wood paneled room. Seasonal outdoor seating, too. Love the salads and Angus burger with Truffle fries.

Tonight was our first night here and we will absolutely be back. They have a beautiful little patio with four tables on it. They have a nice lawn with a big open area at the front of the restaurant so it does not feel claustrophobic. The ownership happened to be here so we had a nice conversation with them and learned a little bit about the history of this new place. We had the spaghetti pompadoro with added vegetables and tiramisu with decaf coffee for dessert. We absolutely loved it and we're going to make this a regular stop for italian. Highly recommend it, super nice people very quaint atmosphere and I think you will love the food :-)

The food here was excellent. Didn't have any drinks, but the bar appeared to be fully stocked! The ambience was also nice.

Tonight was our first time here, very comfortable feel, we sat at the bar and ordered apps and shared an entree. Pedro was very helpful with his recommendations and each did not disappoint. We had the baked clams appetizer special and the calamari, both delicious as was the bread with dipping sauce. The Chicken Gaetano was a very unique, tasty dish, accompanied with vegetables prepared perfectly. House wine was very nice. Looking forward to our next experience here.

This was our first time visiting IL Gaetano and I must say we were extremely pleased. Reserved a table for a special birthday celebration. Lovely decor with a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is a nice large bar area with seating and tables and another area for additional dining in the garden room and also some tables for outdoor dining as well. Nice drink options and a full bar. Large parking lot also on the side for easy access. The restaurant is neat and clean with a warm and inviting atmosphere and decor. Tables had nice linen cloths, comfortable seating , and a very well thought out menu that includes many tempting authentic and unique dishes to please all tastes along with specials. I tried their chicken Gaetano and it was incredible and perfectly prepared with an amazing sauce , moist and delicious chicken and fresh quality ingredients. Portions are large and very filling and prices were fair. The service was excellent, very attentive with a kind and courteous staff eager to assist. The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. Wonderful cozy restaurant, with incredible food and great service. This is definitely a hidden gem and well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed . The food was great. Highly recommend!!!!! Loved it!!!!! Keep up the great work. You made our bday celebration more memorable and special. The best!!!!!

A local gem in Phillipsburg. Gotta try the chicken il gaetano...outstanding! How portions, full bar, nice atmosphere, and great food. Owner is a pleasure to talk to.

We ventured here for the first time tonight. Food was delicious and staff was friendly and attentive. The rosemary bread was yummy with the garlic oil. We had the Burrata app and the mozzarella cheese was rich and creamy. Enjoyed the Chicken Gaetano for my main course, and I could go swimming in the sherry cream sauce. We were sold and will be back! You must check it out.

The food was amazing! The owner was friendly, and very professional. They were very accommodating for our needs. The prices are fantastic. Listen if your looking for something in Phillipsburg NJ this is the place to eat. I will be a regular.
