Was driving past here in the middle of the night (around 1:45) and found a 1 and 1/2-year-old in a diaper and a onesie running alongside the diner parallel with the highway. Caught him just in the nick of time I'll never forget it! Key City Diner is a staple of Phillipsburg, I've known it my whole life. Now it's just extra special. He was reunited with his family and everything is fine. And they all live happily ever after the end..Kid-friendliness: They gave him a free chicken fingers meal

We were so pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this road side, "50s styled," classic American diner. The service was very attentive without being overbearing, the food came out quickly and was delish, and the menu was exactly what you want from a diner (extensive). Highlights included, the waffle fries, club sandwich, chocolate chip pancakes, gyro plate, and chicken fingers. All of the fried items were executed perfectly and wonderfully seasoned. Delish meal! (They serve Pepsi vs Coke)

My food was good !!!BUT BE AWARE THAT THEIR AC DOES NOT WORK AND IT WAS SO HOT IN THERE IT WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE...THE WAITRESS TOLD US TO USE OUR MENU AS A FAN BC SHE DOES...I WILL NOT GO BACK ...I DO NOT RECOMMEND...

Used to eat here back in the 70’s on my way to college in PA. Glad to see it’s still here. Food was very good….fries were hot, crispy, and well seasoned. Reasonable prices, but a more limited menu than years ago. Server was attentive and friendly. Decor is showing its age, but to me that’s part of the charm. Try it! Let’s keep this place in business 50 more years!

Been coming here for years and never am I disappointed. I always devour my food which is always the same... Cheese omelette with home fries and white toast with strawberry jelly!! My 5 year old usually gets pancakes and she loves them! One place I will love for years to come (hopefully!)
