La Bella Via is one of our regular dining spots. The food is consistently well prepared, and the service is always well timed. Their eggplant dishes are top-notch. Eggplant is my one of my personal gauges of an Italian restaurant’s quality. Their eggplant dishes, be it Parmesan or rollatini, are spot on, and the eggplant is never greasy or mushy. Many restaurants fall short with these dishes.

Such good food, fair prices. Brick oven pizza, large burgers, dinner rolls, extensive menu that will take more visits to try everything. Super friendly wait staff.

I had the penne vodka pizza. I enjoyed it but nothing to rave about. The staff were very nice but service was a bit slow. Prices seemed fair. Nice local place that just missed the mark.

My boyfriend and I go to Bethlehem, PA every Tuesday for a GriefShare meeting after losing our daughter. Since they closed the U-turns on 22, we’ve had to take Main Street home and go the back way. We’ve always passed by this place, and have wanted to try. On our way home this evening, I looked at the site to make sure they were open, and called to place a small pizza order. Call was placed at 8:32p. A man answered and said La Bella Via, and I said I would like to place a pick up order. He then proceeded to tell me they were closed. I told him the website said 9p, and he said No Maam, we close at 8:30p. Needless to say, at 8:40p as we drove by, you could see people sitting at tables in the front of the place, with multiple cars parked in the front and the back. Hopefully the owner will see this and know that his employees didn’t want to make a small pizza order, as it was ‘almost’ closing time. Sorry to say that we didn’t get to try this place, and we won’t be trying it in the future.
Edit: I just checked the website and it does say last order will be taken at 8:30p. Don’t lie to customers and say you are closed. Just say last order was at 8:30p, and I wouldn’t have had to write a 1 star review.

"Meet you anytime you want, at our Italian Restaurant"
From the fresh bread and olive oil to start. To the homemade mozzarella sticks to the delicious raviolis, pasta, and wine selection
It may not be the biggest but the quality of food & the atmosphere, La Bella Via is the definition of a true Italian Restaurant.

I can’t speak about the pizza or sandwiches. We both ordered a full dinner, maybe that was our mistake?
First time here, noticed place could be much cleaner from floor to tables to utensils. Sat us at a table with crumbs everywhere? No one can see ?
Plate had old food residue too.
Employees setting table don’t notice? Our waitress was very pleasant and busy.
Hopefully she will move on to a good restaurant? She deserves better.
Outside appearance needs attention, weeds need be gone. Sometimes outside presentation tells the story.
Salad was very fresh and good. Potatoes and vegetables were done nicely, good.
Bread and dipping oil mix good.
But the main entrees, poor quality, pasta way overdone, mush, chicken very bland and prosciutto was thick and rubbery.
Sauce on both dishes were ok.
Hardly any cheese or spinach.
It was like a regular diner who does not regularly serve Italian, trying to make It . Some diners are really good though which would be better than this.
Definitely a miss and won’t go back. Waste of money.

Ordered pick up here with chicken fettuccine alfredo, chicken francese, a cold sub and a chicken wrap. Both pasta dishes tasted like nothing. The chicken looked and tasted like it was boiled, it had no color at all. Both pastas also tasted like nothing. We had to improvise sauces for both of them. The cold sub was pretty all bread. And the wrap was maybe the only okay thing out of the order. Even the bread they give to go with entrees didn’t seem fully baked and was just thrown in there. Will definitely not be ordering here again.

Margherita pizza was just OK. Wouldn't get it again. I'd go back and try something else but for now I'm not blown away.
