First, let me explain the 1 star when the other stuff is rated higher. There was nothing wrong with my beverage, the woman I spoke was super nice and she seemed great at her job. But...

I'm torn on this but here is my story. I was going to visit friends in Philly, and since I was leaving a little earlier than normal, I figured I would grab a drink from this Starbucks since it's on the way. I got it in the drive through, the woman was very nice and I didn't have to wait, so I have no complaints about that. I get on the road, I'm on the highway and I pick it up to take a sip only to have it explode all over me and all over my car. They had either given me a cup with a crinkled rim around the top, or mangled it when they put the lid on, but that will always cause that to happen to the cup. The cup has no stability if you damage the rim, it won't hold the top on and the pressure of just picking up the cup will make it fold in your hands. I was already on the way, so I stopped at gas station and spent the next 25 minutes cleaning my car. Then I got to spend the day with my friends, with a giant coffee stain on my pants.

You can't give customers bad cups like that. As it stands it ruined those pants and now my car smells like old coffee permanently, unless I want to disassemble the center console of my car go get what seeped inside it cleaned off.

I can understand why Starbucks Corporation is not doing well. It is very expensive and the food is mediocre compared to what it was when they started. They were successful because they were an upscale specialty coffeehouse. Now they are a one of the mills fast food place to grab an expensive cup of coffee. Starbucks used to be my favorite place, now it disappoints me every time I stop there …which are fewer and fewer times. I had a macchiato coffee and in a bag, a tiny cheap bagel with cream cheese in a tiny tub along with a plastic knife. I purchased this at the drive-in window and they didn’t even put the cream cheese on the bagel… how did they expected me too, put the cream cheese on the bagel in the car? I hoped I was paying for service & quality. Instead I got disappointed again.

Always helpful and enthusiastic. All drinks are amazing. Food is good too, I especially like the coconut chips. If you don't like your drink, they fix it, no questions asked. Please be kind to the baristas.

Used to Be a Favorite, But Not Anymore
This used to be one of my go-to spots, but lately I just can’t justify coming here anymore. What’s the point of ordering a coffee when it’s not made right?
There’s one barista who consistently gets it right — the way I actually ordered it — and I appreciate that. But today’s experience was frustrating. I ordered an iced coffee, and the sweetener was just sitting at the bottom, completely unmixed. I had to stir it myself and basically fix the drink at home.
If I order the same drink and it’s made correctly once, it should be made the same way every time after that. That’s kind of the bare minimum. I don’t think it’s too much to expect some consistency.
Really disappointed. I’d love to come back, but not if this keeps happening.
