Met friends of ours for lunch at Sullivan‘s on the Main in Phillipsburg New Jersey. The dining room was in full Christmas spirit with a beautifully decorated tree, a life size Santa Clause, Mrs Clause, and all the Christmas trimmings. The waitress was extremely attentive pleasant and cheerful. The four of us each had something different whether it was for breakfast or lunch. I chose to have breakfast of, the hungry man, Which consisted of 3 eggs over easy, 4 sausage links, 3 Slices of bacon, home fries, Rye toast, coffee, and last but not least on a separate plate, 3 large pancakes. All of this for under $10. Tell me where you can beat this. My wife and two friends each had something different and all stated that their meals were great. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, and if not stop by anyway, As it was worth it.
The owner is sociable and nice to talk to. The beer is very reasonably priced. It has that old time bar atmosphere. No loud wild and crazy music here. So who ever you want to talk with can hear you. You don't have to yell your lungs out like a lot of other bars I know.
