I traveled with my family from Washington, D.C. to New York, and to save time I placed an online order from the Stone Tavern location in New Jersey before arriving. The payment went through immediately, but I never received a receipt or any confirmation email, which was concerning. I tried calling the restaurant, and an employee named Luke answered. Unfortunately, he was extremely unprofessional and rude, even though I was simply asking about my order.
I told him I was already on my way and that my intention was to place the order in advance so I could pick it up quickly with my family. He didn’t offer any help or explanation. When I arrived at the restaurant, Luke was there, and I explained the situation again, but his behavior was even worse in person. He interrupted me several times and spoke in an impolite manner. While I was talking, someone walked in from outside and Luke abruptly told me to move out of the way in a very rude and disrespectful tone, completely lacking professionalism.
I asked to speak with a manager in hopes of resolving the issue. A senior woman with short blonde hair came out, and I initially thought she was the manager. However, she had no solutions to offer, and eventually I discovered that the actual manager wasn’t even present.
I ended up leaving without my order, after wasting my time, money, and effort. Unfortunately, this was my first and definitely my last experience with Stone Tavern.

Garbage place, watched the owner disrespect and threaten people. Foods hardly ever the way its ordered, and if u say something, the owner runs his mouth to u....avoid this place, theres many other restaurants that have way better food and a much friendlier atmosphere.

I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Very large portion and delicious. My husband had the chicken fingers and potato skins. He said they were very good and the honey mustard dressing was really good. Service was very good as well.
