Been going here for years but they moved from this old usual location to the mall nearby. Hot dogs are made in the fryer which sounds different but the taste is unique and very good. They add onions and pickles cut long. Get a "thick shake" too for sure

The reviews are from 2017 when it was under Toby's Oroginal hot dogsCheck in Yelp, the real reviews, since new ownership. Not good. Rated a 2.Post the real opinionsThis is all fake

I think they're closed. The quality and customer service took a nose dive once the original owner sold. Sadly this landmark looks like it's nothing but a fond memory now.

Lifetime customer of 35+ years. Under new ownership, used to serve my very favorite cheese steak, not anymore now the same as everyone else's, no need to return anymore. Very sad day Very disappointed.

I would give a zero if I could. This is my 4 th and finale time I try to come here. Website says they are open till 9pm and I’m here at 4 pm to get greeted with a sorry we missed you sign. This has happened 4x and I’m done. Someone not to concerned with keeping a business going

Bad enough it's $2.25 for a Hot Dog but would be nice if they were ever open. Over the past 2 weeks I've come here 4 times and they were closed with no reason posted. This time it says will be closed Monday and reopen Tuesday. It was Thursday evening and sign was still up. That means they weren't even there for 4 days to take the sign down. No notice, nothing on website, Facebook, nothing. Waste of gas to get nothing. With just go to Hotdog Johnny's for now on

1st time trying since reopened and was very unhappy. I understand the prices of things are higher, but the portion of cheese fries for the price was a joke. Made the shakes first then waitied half hour for food to take home overpriced cup of cold milk. Then when paying with a card, was told I had to leave a tip, then went back and forth until it was understood that I didnt. Will not be back, way better options in the area.

Been a lifetime customer 35 + years, stopped in for my favorite cheese steak, totally disappointed, new management, have changed everything. Now they are just like all the chessesteaks that everyone sells ,no reason to go back now. Very Sad day!

Toby's use to be a great place to get a hot dog or a steak sandwich and old fashioned Milk Shakes. The owner Jimmy always knew your name and what you ordered. The place had a neighborhood feel to it. The new owner has changed to food and menu raised the price on everything and the shakes are not as good and they are smaller in size. Such a shame that they changed everything and no for the good Gary

The best hot dog i ever had. Although making hot dog is a sinple receipe, still Tobys' hot dogs were on a very different level . Very juicy and really tasty

Can't drive through P-Burg without stopping in. Tiffany was awesome, she even jumped into a photo with us. You must stop in, I've been for almost 50 years.

Place has gone downhill, since new owner took over food is of lesser quality, Dogs are Very different than when toby was there. Cheaper hot dog so new owner makes more $. I pass by every day going home, Stopped in got two dogs Mustard onion Pickel. Ate them driving home upon arrival threw up the dam dogs. As i was eating them they just did not taste right, I blamed the gum i had just had before. I grew up eating at Tobys being a local .Will not go back, I am sadden by this. You should be to.

Saw a list of the top places in Jersey to grab a dog and on this list, was Toby's Cup. Only about 45 minutes from my house so figured out some other stuff to do in the area and went to grab a bite. Found out after I arrived that the place had somewhat recently been purchased by a new owner and he had kept most of the menu the same but added a few small changes. One of those changes being fries. The old owner rocked a bunch of chips and stuff from what I understand but didn't do fries. I'm happy the new owner does fries. These fries were fresh cut, hot and crisp, and delicious. I would go back just for the fries. The burger was also very good. Had a nice flavor, good amount of meat, and a tasty roll. The dog was quite good as well. A good hearty chili served here with onions and mustard. Overall the price was solid and I'd definitely go back when in the area. The staff was also friendly and the food came out quickly. This would be 5 star but the location isn't super friendly with the traffic and parking lot and the inside is small with no tables except for a few picnic tables for outdoor seating attached to the parking lot.
