This is no Arby's!! Roast beef was awful! The coke had seltzer taste, very little flavor. I called & complained & the manager??? Beth?? Will give me a drink replacement. I leave 2 hrs away. She could've credit me this meal. Not even the roast beef was credited!! She was not sympathetic. The only good thing was the mint shake, with too much chips and the French fries....even that was a tad too salty. Will not return.

We were in Ac from Pa & said how about a lil road trip & nostalgia... this Roy Rogers is great! It's just like the 80's. The server Ms Flo was AWESOME! & we even chatted up with another couple that was on their way to AC from New York. I don't know when I'll be back because it's a distance but I sure hope they stay open! See ya Ms.Flo, may be next year... please check them out & get the strawberry shortcake sundae it will turn you into a kid again!

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Roy Rogers for Pine Beach, our 125th town.
I haven't seen a Roy Rogers since the 90s. Apparently, this is one of only two left in Jersey! We broke our rule of not stopping at chain restaurants to take a trip down memory lane at Roys.
Roy Rogers is known for their "Fixin's Bar". The burgers are served naked and you make it your own way with all the fixin's. Nothing has changed and the burgers had the same taste I remember as a kid! This place is a truly a food time capsule.

Roast beef always excellent, but the rolls need changing, they fall apart, and not good quality. Other wise food and service always excellent.
I stop by here for a late dinner almost once a week, and it's always very good. Management could probably play something other than boring black & white oldies at that time, but we all have cell phones. Someday, i'm gonna get up enough courage to ask that redhead out somewhere too.

Overall it is what it is. Purchased 4 pieces of chicken two dry as hell and two juicy. Not sure if they sell enough chicken around the eve hours so it doesn’t dry out.

The chicken was fresh, not to much oil, the side on mac an cheese was excellent, the mash was great too. the staff was very friendly. drone a hour as we know they are scarce now, biscuits we're fresh as well.
