I am newer to the area and have been to the Eagle Diner twice now. The place is immaculate, the owners and servers are so kind and personable, the portions are wonderful! Each time there weren’t many in eating, I do not understand why this place isn’t packed! The prices are very welcoming too! I have had their delicious French Onion Soup, Broiled Crabcakes which were loaded with crabmeat, this place does not disappoint. The desserts, out of this world!! I am so happy I found this gem.

Been going here since 2018. We have always been treated like family since day one. Today we went for a birthday lunch for my child. the food is always great, and the cakes are always amazing. I’ve been getting cakes here for years.

I knew something was wrong when you find a diner completely empty. Walked in waitress on her phone and the other one sees me standing waiting to be seated and she went sat down to eat herself. Never acknowledged me. So I left.
Service was good first time. The second time my older was completely wrong. I ordered stuff mushrooms got dried breadcrumbs with a shrimp stuffed in it. Don't know who screwed up my order the waitress or the cook. Although the chichen potpie is extremely good.

My chipped beef had no flavor and for the price I paid I definitely should have gotten more then what I did. There are diners all over NJ, any one of them is better then this place

This was hands-down one of the best diners I've been to in NJ. The Meat Lovers Omelette was incredible, the Sausage Gravy was one of the Best. We ordered our food and it came out about 10 mins later . . . Very fast. The staff was very polite and nice to interact with. A must go place. I'll be back soon and you should too!
