Very welcoming! Food was absolutely amazing. Had to wait about 25 mins which was fine because you rather have the food cooked perfectly then rush it. Chicken was perfectly cooked very crispy on the outside and meat was juicy and over all very taste. Yams and Mac and cheese where also very good. Highly recommend the food. I also got the strawberry shortcake cheesecake Cake and personally it wasn't amazing but it was ok. The worst thing about the whole experience was the amount of flies in the space. And it looks like there are a lot of fire hazards. If you can get over the non cleanse space it is excellent food.

I ordered my platters in advance and was told they would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived 45 minutes later and still waited another 30 minutes for my food and there was 1 order before mine. The picture looks really good but the greens were very gritty while the rice was very salty. The fish was nice. The cake was also not good. More the consistency of cornbread. I won't be back.

Food was really greasy, greens smelled and taste like they were reheated over and over again, proportions were tiny, food took way too long, and the store itself was unsanitary and has dirt all over the place.

Best food I had in South Jersey in a long time. Surprisingly it’s hard to find good soul food in South Jersey been to quite a few establishments. Placed order over the phone and owner greeted me in a pleasant sweet voice. Food was ready when I arrived and I must say I will be going back! Sides Mac n cheese, yams, and greens were on point! Everything was yummy. Establishment could have been cleaner and more neater but I understand as a business owner how hard it is today to keep and find good staff. Looking fwd to eating here again!

Horrible rice, mac n cheese taste like vinegar 30 dollars for wing dings and hour wait to be told burnt cornbread! I try best to support but this is why. Over priced Ms. Leading menu said Chicken Wings look below wing dings for 16.00 smh! Never again!
The food that I ordered was very delicious I had fried fish mac and cheese and those Black eyed peas I was in having fun what a scrumptious meal the banana pudding was even delicious you go Ms swee tea..

The first time I felt like the food was better this is my second time here I feel like my baked Mac and cheese was burnt and they put my bbq chicken on bread so it soaked up all of my sauce on my chicken but other then that the yams were good

First time supporting ordered Carrot Cake which that alone is 5STARS it was amazing and lives up to the name. I also ordered chicken & fish & shrimp platter . Chicken was cooked well & seasoned cabbage was decent as well. I personally was not a fan of the Mac & Cheese but my husband attests to it being “made with care” as most restaurants do not put much love into Mac & cheese. I also ordered a fish sandwich because there were no side options for fish; but unfortunately I have a shellfish allergy & the fish is cooked in the same oil as the shrimp so I was unable to try it but was happy to hear they use a separate fryer for their chicken. Service could have been a little better, although I understand that this business can be overwhelming as I too have my own catering business however despite it all your customers are a big aspect to a thriving business having a greeter / front staff who isn’t involved in cooking and just helps with order taking will help significantly. Lastly; I would recommend calling ahead if you doordash to make sure the items you desire is still available; I will go back to try their BBQ J*** which isn’t an everyday option but sounds delicious; Happy to support black owned businesses
