This place used to be the best! Their food was great they got rid of it. The ice cream isn’t good anymore and not as smiley of employees. It is a shame such a great place has demised. Try other local shops instead

Delicious homemade ice cream. Flavors change daily. The cookie butter crunch is our favorite. They also serve food which is just as delicious.

Quaint setting in a surprisingly busy off the beaten path community. Server was great, ice cream was as well. Only negative was finding parking.

Alaura has a special on Tuesday nights $5 flights which is a 4 flavor container option. When it is super busy (to be expected with such a good deal), it seems like there could be a more orderly approach to scooping for this special but it doesn’t change the flavor or quality to the ice cream. Alaura offers creative flavors on rotation.

Alaura serves light bites and they’re great too but be prepared to wait a few minutes because they make most of it fresh! Cheesesteak eggrolls & fries are so good and don’t typically need additional dipping sauce.

Some favorites in our family are the French toast, cookie butter crunch, pistachio and black raspberry chocolate chip.

The owners of Alaura are exceptional people, so that’s a bonus. They always support the local community.

Parking: If no parking out front, There is parking on side street as well as a parking lot. Another parking lot at the end of block next to Farenheit.

First time coming and dining in, the staff were very friendly. I got the frites and the cinnamon ice cream with caramel it was delicious! Big shout out again to the staff who let me try almost every single flavor. Will definitely be back!
