Food is ok and the drinks are decent. More ideal for a last minute get together than a planned night out.

Went for lunch with a friend and enjoyed a nice afternoon at Carolina Blue. Delicious mussels with crusty bread and a delicious white sangria. Server was friendly, prompt and attentive. Atmosphere was quiet (due to time of day) and we weren't rushed from our table. Would highly recommend enjoying a meal and a drink at Carolina Blue!

This really hurts to post a review like the one i am about to but must be done. We have loved this place for so long but haven’t been there for awhile and decided to go spend Sunday dinner here. First if there is an issue, the number 1 thing a server should ask is “How can I make this better, or Let me get the manager so we can correct this”. Never “I don’t know what the kitchen is doing, I am so sorry they messed up.” This is bad customer service pointing fingers. Second pay attention to your tables. While we sit and watch other tables getting their food and checks for people who came in after us and we are there over 2 hours is ridiculous. Last please do a deep cleaning. Benches all stained and have gunk on them. Flys all over the place. Dirt in between all cushions. Tables sticky when we sit. Disappointed and disgusting.

We are gonna monitor reviews before we decided if we are done with Carolina Blue. They need some policy changes or re enforcement.

We went for a birthday party and you definitely have to try the beef Wellington. It was AMAZING. Complements to the chef 💯💯 the pastas are very good too. Nice place and big, it has a patio so you can seat outdoors. We would definitely come back.

The food was good but the service was very slow. We were seated quickly but we waited at least 10 minutes before the waiter came to our table even though the place was not crowded. Then it took forever for the food to arrive. The waiter never asked to refill my drink. Not a good experience.

Food was excellent first tried the Mac an cheese with brisket at a wine festival and it was really good so I decided to try take out from the restaurant and was not disappointed although they forgot to add one of my sampler items to my sampler dish I actually didn’t notice at first because it was so much food in the sampler it self but when I called to ask they quickly apologized and was eager to rectify the mistake. The next day I went and picked up my missing food of course they made me a new dish fresh and even added some extra. Not only are their food good the customer service is wonderful they went the extra mile to correct a honest mistake and make it so I want to come back. Thank you for the excellent food and customer service!

The service was great. The waiter was in-tune with our needs, and took good care of us.

The food was good. I got the sampler of 1/4 chicken, burnt ends, and ribs. The ribs are supposedly something special, but they were quite fatty and stuck to the bones. Chicken and burnt ends were really good, but I like some extra sauce, and the waiter told me there was already sauce on them. Maybe I could have gotten additional sauces, I don't know. It would have been nice to have a few bbq sauce options on the table. Also, no sides at all came with the smoked meats. It was just the meat, pickled onions, and grilled pepperoncinis. The dessert we ordered was advertised as chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and orange glaze. The cake we got was more like a triple chocolate cake. I'm not sure what that was about.đŸ€” It was also very dry and crumbly.

Atmosphere? 😬 Lots of flies. Lots. I don't understand why there were so many, but it's an actual problem that needs to be taken care of. That alone will keep me from going back. It just wasn't a pleasant atmosphere with flies both flying around and landed and in wait of a morsel.

Save yourself! It was my Birthday and we wanted to eat somewhere close
. This was a mistake. We walked into the restaurant to a bunch of kids sitting behind the hosted stand on their phones. They greeted our party and i looked at my wife and said DAMN it’s hot in here hopefully the airs on in the dining room. Well it wasn’t we were greeted with a swarm of flies and a musty heat of a dining room. Our waiter took about 5 mins to come over to our table and greet us. After taking our drink and appetizer order he brought back out wrong drinks and we waited about 25 minutes for him to return with just himself no food and he finally brought the correct drinks. Waiting patiently with 4 children our appetizers had arrived while swatting the flies away. The food runner had to bring us plates and utensils. The waiter came around and took our order nervous and full of anxiety” not from anyone we had done”. We ordered our food drinks mostly empty we ate while the flies just kept landing on the food. At this point we just should have left but the kids were hungry and we were committed. When you have as much time to sit around because our food took even longer than the appetizers did you start to notice things. Like the dirty carpets, the staines all over the seating booths and the months or years of caked up food and crumbs in the seat your child is sitting on. The wait staff were all just hanging out in the back, they were either doing it purposefully or didn’t realize the entire dining room can see them through the slatted wall. A couple came in and sat for about 15 minutes and weren’t even greeted they just got up and left. The waiter that was assigned to that section came out with their waters and walked completely around the dining room wondering where that had gone. A new couple was greeted to the exact same table and the same waiter came out and gave them an attitude because he thought they were the couple that had left , this was outrageous we had to stay just so we can be entertained at how this place is even still in business. Our waiter came by and said I’m sorry for the wait your food will be up shortly

he come back another 15 minutes later and said I’m sorry that was another party of 6’s food we looked around the empty dining room of about 4 tables of couples laughing to ourselves because we knew he had forgotten our order. While trying to battle the flies for our appetizers our main meals had finally arrived. I’m not gonna lie the BBQ was good but we were exhausted at this point and all wanted to leave everyone just took a couple bites of food. Our waiter came around to check on us and basically broke down. He expressed how sorry he was that the manager was going to take care of us and that it’s never like this that they were all having a bad day. We said no problem we haven’t said one thing to him because his energy was giving off a please just let me get through my day vibes and we all have been their it’s not totally his fault. I just asked for the check because the flies had multiplied by the ton because we were the only table had gotten any food at this point. I asked for the check no boxes. He had asked if the manager stopped by and we said no he hadn’t, he came back and said “ I’m so sorry please do not tip me! The manager took off three of the 6 drinks” mind you we never asked for anything free or complained once, this was his perception of how our experience went. We payed the bill and tipped our waiter because he was basically working alone while his manager and coworkers collected a check from the Cook family. Brad and Jim I know you guys and work for your brand my entire high school career. Please go look at your restaurant and fix it because I know you can do better.

Not a bad place to eat if you don't mind sharing your 40 dollar ribeye with the flies, went thier Sunday for family dinner after total tuff game ,we all had to try to keep the flies away from are food and drinks and eat at the same time , didn't work after two bits I had mine to go , and other family members did the same, fastest we ever eat and left to many flies to deal with for eating inside, outside i can understand, server said sorry with a smile , nothing he can do he did say the owner knows about the issue, waste of 205 dollars of food if you need to keep chasing flies away , I dislike writing reviews, just this place seems they didn't care about the issue
