We are so lucky to have this cozy cafe in our area. The food is delicious and cooked with love. The owners are down to earth, friendly and welcoming. You will go in as a costumer and leave as friends.
Not only do they make amazing food, but they also support rescues and animal sanctuaries monthly. They raise funds and awareness for little rescues that could use the help and it’s greatly appreciated.
We have used the Gentle Giant Cafe for many of our fundraisers and whether they are vegan or not, everyone says the food is amazing ❤️

I had the most lovely and delicious first visit with this all plant-based cafe. The women who helped me with my order were very welcoming and didn’t miss a beat offering me recommendations that were also safe for someone gluten sensitive. The egg Sammie with sausage patty and cheez (and GF bagel) was literally finger licking good. Great service and delicious meal. And those salt and pepper collectibles on the tables were a perfect touch! So glad I’ve found you TGGC <3

Excellent food! Amazing atmosphere! And fantastic people! My friend and I planned to visit here for a while. As a vegan, I make it a goal to visit all vegan restaurants that I stumble across (because they are so hard to find in the South Jersey area.) We walked in when they first opened and received a warm greeting from the owner, Dawn and employee, Christine. I got the tofu egg, cheez and tempeh bacon on an everything bagel, and it was DELICIOUS. I also had the organic mango passionfruit juice, and I was hankering for the strawberry shortcake cup. Everything was so tasty. I would come back to The Gentle Giant Cafe again and again and again. This place is great, and I 100% recommend!

Lovely staff. I went two days in a row (it’s that good) and the front counter person and chef (owner also, I believe) were incredibly friendly. I was in from out of town and they both took time to get to know me and talk about how I liked the grub.
Prices were great. I would have paid twice as much in the city for what I got.
I got a lot of food over the two days. Vegan lox and breakfast sandwich are dynamite. Falafel and chickpea salad were great. There was a special turkey sandwich on the menu that day that was also incredible. I ordered a lot since I was headed out of town and planned to eat it over the course of a few days, but it was gone by dinner.
Seitan and sauces were made in house and some of the best I have ever had.

Really good food, and very good iced coffee (coffee place in town last we were at, next to pawn shop, had awful iced coffee, gentle giants was great). Also had pies from them for a party last year they made which were very good. 4 stars for the odd hours and only having one big bottle of ketchup.
The owners are friendly and they have some gluten-free options! I recommend their breakfast Sammie with a tofu egg! Yum!

We went a little while ago and I forgot to review. But the food was absolutely AMAZING. I haven't had a legitimately good, gourmet burger maybe ever and the one I had here was perfection. I think about it all the time. And everything is plant based and quite healthy!
