We recently attended their Gilmore Girls Breakfast and had such a wonderful time. The attention to detail made you feel as if you were dining in Stars Hallow complete with “Luke” at the counter. Wow! Awesome! I had the falafel wrap and the sweet potato bites. Too often vegan food is loaded with salt to compensate for the lack of meat, but this place simply uses fresh ingredients and combines them well for a refreshing taste that still satisfies. I know you will ask, so I'll tell you they are 100% vegan. I checked several hiding spots in the prepackaged drinks and nothing. You can eat here with confidence. I'm not vegan, but I've found that vegans (even the ones who use too much salt) take great pride in their food. I enjoy all food if it is well made and with heart. This place does just that. They put their heart into their food and you will be able to taste it. (The good food, not their actual heart. That's weird!) If you are looking for a local, environmentally conscious restaurant with great food, then try out the Gentle Giant Café. I promise you won't regret it.

A nice vegan cookery with low hours. I'd love to see an expansion, as it's a great addition to the town strip. Nice pricing, can't go wrong, but it's hard to stop in when my working hours are exactly the times they're opened.

The food was delicious! Been wanting to try this place out for a while and did not disappoint! My friend got the lox less bagel and said that it was so flavorful and had the Smokiness that salmon had! I got the breakfast sandwich with tofu, meat and cheese and it was equally as delicious.

My family and I went in yesterday for lunch. My husband disclosed that we have food allergies, specifically Alpha Gal Syndrome. The back of house lady joked that she wished everyone had this severe allergy and would become forced vegan. As someone who has severe reactions to simply using the wrong soap, I was deeply offended. We chose to educate and not put my family through searching for a different restaurant that could accommodate us, and the food was good. However, as an establishment that proudly promotes compassion on its website- I found it very lacking.

I hope they will expand their menu just a bit. I found it too limiting, but completely understand their focus on fewer menu items. At least for the time being.

My husband and I went as first timers on a whim, always looking for plant based options and this place rocked. We both got breakfast sandwiches, I had v-roll (plant based pork roll) and I was so stoked at how much it tasted like the real thing! Magic. My husbands sandwich has seriously delicious tempeh bacon. We also got vegan stroopwaffels to go (by the counter), 10/10 recommend. Super cute and friendly place, can't wait to go back and try a burger!
