I came across this place as I was looking for so place to eat. I always read the reviews first.
I am actually doing a review of what appears to be to be of the owner who does not take constructive criticism well. I’ve read three replies to what I believe were unsatisfied customers and I have to say that it has me very hesitant to patronize your business
For the owner to reply to a review by saying things like, everyone is entitled to their opinion, or you could have been more beneficial by calling instead of leaving a review, is very off putting and does not reflect great customer service. Especially coming from the owner.
For LOTS OF CUSTOMERS, great service is just as important as great food. I’m one of those customers.
It is customary for a person to patronize an establishment, and leave a review of the product and services. Most people do not call, because that does nothing for future customers who’d appreciate the experience of other customers, which helps them to decide which establishment to patronize .
Will I go to this place, perhaps one day because there are people who seem to love the food, but the service and attitude should also be great.
PS, I had to rate the establishment in order to submit the review, so please disregard the 5 star rating. I rated it 5 because it would not have been fair to rate it low without actually visiting. I am a fair customer.

I called the restaurant about 40 minutes before closing to place a pickup order. Unfortunately, the person who answered was rude, stated they don’t accept pickup orders at that time, and abruptly hung up the phone. Despite this, I decided to drive to the restaurant since I was nearby, even though I live an hour away and it was already late.
When I arrived, I was greeted by a very nice lady, which was a relief. I ordered wings with three sides: mac and cheese, candied yams, and collard greens. After placing my order and paying, I noticed she grabbed frozen wings and put them straight into the fryer. Then, to my surprise, she plated the sides in a to-go tray and microwaved them. When I asked about this, she explained that since everything was already put away for the night, the food had to be warmed up.
A few minutes later, I received my order and drove home. Unfortunately, after just 2-3 bites, I couldn’t bring myself to finish the food. It was disappointing, especially since I remember this business from its food truck days, when you could really taste the love and freshness in every bite.
Sadly, the quality seems to have gone down over time. I won’t be returning, but I hope this review is taken as constructive feedback. Best of luck to the business moving forward.

Omg this service was excellent I needed a pan of yams 🍠 for a party last minute Amazing 🤩 taste did the job and the party loved the Yams 10 out of 10 hands down Thank you so much for being a life saver the friends giving I went to was a success and everyone loved the Yams 🍠

Picked up an order of the fried catfish dinner with Mac and cheese and greens and a side order of yams and YALL. If this wasnt the best catfish I have ever had! And the yams was PERFECT. You missing out if you haven't been yet.

Ordered jerk chicken, baked Mac and cheese with yellow rice. Jerk chicken was actually baked chicken , Mac and cheese was ok and yellow rice was not edible. Will not go back!

Our family event was a success on Saturday. Thank You amazing taste for your friendly and timely service. The food was amazing our family definitely enjoyed the food. I definitely have to take a ride to get some catfish soon!!!
