Terrible experience in 30 seconds. Grabbed a ginger ale from the fridge. Went to the counter to pay, the cashier and another person (maybe the owner) started whispering in a different language (Spanish) . He then held his fingers up and said 3 as in 3 dollars for a can ginger ale. Once he did that i knew why they were whispering, because $3 for a can ginger ale is ridiculous. However i still was going to buy it (stomach was killing me). I give a $5 dollar bill and the female cashier comes back with $1.50 change. I asked , “wait, so this ginger ale is $3.50” she looked back at the man (maybe owner ) again and he nodded yes. Idk if the cashier doesn’t know but it clearly looked like they were overcharging maybe because i don’t speak Spanish but that was sad. You could even see disgust in some people face, As i walked out, a man just looked and was shaking his head.

Cashier = light skin woman, heavy set (respectfully)

Man (maybe owner) = skinny , older guy , brown skin, bald head .

If they’re working together i would refrain from buying

This small Mexican bakery tucked on a side street near the train station, has a nice selection of sweet delicious treats as well as Mexican street foods (nachos, sandwiches, tacos, etc) at an affordable price. Staff is friendly and helpful. Entrance is handicap accessible and there is metered street parking.
