I saw the statue with the woman. There needs to be a lot more of those throughout the restaurant. Then I might consider coming back.
We eat here almost every Friday night. Love the food, the staff & the best refried beans of anywhere!!!
The food is constantly fresh and delightful, employees hands over awesome customer service. I love how neat it is and ambience. Worth a try.

The menu and quality of food at El Meson is not that much different than the other Mexican restaurants in town. This is probably my wife's favorite one to eat at. I can not really say anything positive or negative about El Meson. It is a solid average across the board. My recommendation on which restaurant in town to eat at is dictated on how fast you can get seated. I do believe that this is probably the second busiest Mexican restaurant in town.
We had an early lunch on a weekend. They were working from a condensed menu in anticipation of the Cinco de Mayo rush. I had the Nachos and they were good. Our server, Ana, was prompt and friendly. This is a nice place to eat lunch.
We waited over 15 minutes to get our drinks even ordered. Server was very slow despite the place not bering packed. GF ordered seafood burrito and they left the tails on the shrimp. Very bad experience and they didn't even try tyo make it right when we bought it to their attention. They just apologized. Will not return
Hi, thanks for reading this review. First time patron: here it goes.....one male server came to take drink order, he did not understand my order for their margarita, despite reading it verbatim from their menu, so a 2nd male server came for drink order, I thought, really how complex is this & I thought I will make this simpler so in plain American English I said a corona with lime, when it arrived via the 3rd male server (we were one of three occupied paying patrons in the restaurant on 7/2 Sunday) that server he brought a corona light w lime, really:( sign of times, luv harry styles-plug 🤗 anyway) , so husband wanted Choriqueso for appetizer and that was poor, the warned thin chips (served w the red salsa) however were good, and then husband ordered Chimichanga (ground beef) and I got Davids Dinner. And so the food delivered and was very hot w temperature, but it was bland , all of both our entrees were made w the same bland ground beef with a bunch of flour tortillas covered and a bunch of red sauce. For us , we will not return but oh well , Se La Vie (that's life)
Go in hungry and leave full as they give you so much food. Friendly atmosphere, nicely themed decor and a very clean spacious restaurant. We were quickly seated, given good tasting salsa and tortilla chips, order taken and food brought out in a reasonable time. We ordered a steak taco salad and David's Dinner all of which was very flavorful and delicious. A fine selection of Beers, Wines, Margaritas and Micheladas are also available. Prices are average and comparable with alike local eateries.
