The menu and quality of food at El Meson is not that much different than the other Mexican restaurants in town.This is probably my wife's favorite one to eat at. I can not really say anything positive or negative about El Meson. It is a solid average across the board. My recommendation on which restaurant in town to eat at is dictated on how fast you can get seated. I do believe that this is probably the second busiest Mexican restaurant in town.
We had an early lunch on a weekend. They were working from a condensed menu in anticipation of the Cinco de Mayo rush. I had the Nachos and they were good. Our server, Ana, was prompt and friendly. This is a nice place to eat lunch.
Go in hungry and leave full as they give you so much food. Friendly atmosphere, nicely themed decor and a very clean spacious restaurant. \nWe were quickly seated, given good tasting salsa and tortilla chips, order taken and food brought out in a reasonable time. We ordered a steak taco salad and David's Dinner all of which was very flavorful and delicious. A fine selection of Beers, Wines, Margaritas and Micheladas are also available.
