The service was very kind and helpful. The food came out hot and delicious. The homemade salsa and guacamole are delicious, also. We brought our own tequila and they had delicious Margarita mixes. It was a win-win-win.

Disappointing! The torta steak sandwich is not genuine!! You pay for the name and you get a piece of bread with a dry thin layer of meat that’s hard to chew, a hint of lettuce and tomato! Fries were minimal, also hard to chew also.
Atmosphere is amazing, people are incredibly kind and friendly, food is indescribably good, and location even better. The guacamole guy was definitely the best part, he was so funny, quick, and professional! Solid 1000/10
I deceived this establishment which sadly i regret doing in hindsight. I would like to start this review on a good note and point out that the food that I purchased here was flavorful HOWEVER the presentation and freshness of the ingredients were sorely lacking. After verbal mentioning my concerns the server regarding my dried out beans and red wilted lettuce I was advised that they the beans looked non appetizing because the cook tried to melt the cheese which dried out and he beans . I also pointed out that the lettuce was turning red because it was out and really shouldn’t have been plated. Upon my request more lettuce which was fresh was brought out thankfully . Unfortunately I will not be eating here again but hopefully this review wiill encourage Freppes Texmex to make some changes.

The place was decent but not impressive. I found the food somewhat blend, but others liked it for not being too salty. The server was friendly, but I was surprised by my bill at the end because on my $14 taco salad, there was $9 extra charge. When the server asked earlier if I want to add meat, I said I don't eat meat. Then they suggested grilled vegetables. I asked if the taco salad has beans in it, and they said they will put it. It turns out the mixed vegetables was extra $5 and black beans were extra $4. The salad was served with honey mustard instead of salsa. And the grilled vegetables were big chunks of carrot, zucchini, broccoli, and cauliflower. They did not go well with the taco salad at all. I wish the server informed me about extra charged when I made the order. I had no way of knowing it because it was not on the menu under taco salad.

Attentive service. Good Tex mex. For the northeast a pretty solid Tex mex meal. Got the burrito taco combo which was nice and tasty. A little expensive for lunch but not bad overall.

Was excited to try a new mexican restaurant so my friend and I decided to visit this spot. Wasn’t busy but took our waiter about 15-20 to ask us what we would like to drink. My friend and I waited another 30-40 minutes for our shrimp tacos, when we got our food, they were cold and no flavor in the shrimp. The rice and beans were disgusting… rice was hard and beans were dry….. Service was HORRIBLE, waiter never came to check on us to see if we liked another drink or see how our food was. She finally comes out, asks her to take my plates…. Mind you I only had 1 taco and told her I didn’t like the food politely, she said that’s okay and told me I wouldn’t get charged. As she takes my plate, I asked for the bill and 15 mins later I get the bill and she still charged me. WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
