I ordered a small brown stew chicken on Sunday, and as you can see, the portions were huge. This restaurant gets a bad wrap because they're franchised, but this entree was delicious !!! The total for all that food was $14.80- not bad for a meal and tomorrow'slunch!!! My family also loves the mild beef patties! Plus, the Plainfield location has a drive-thru window. Very convenient!

First this review has nothing to do with the taste of the food. I strongly believe if you're going to have customers pay $80 for four plates of food then the food should be attended to with care and focus. I was so disappointed when today I ordered four meals and a soup and received not just the wrong order but worse. I know the person preparing my meal and the woman who charged my card understood what I ordered because they kept repeating it back to me and each other. I was skeptical to shell out $24 for grilled salmon but I said what the heck. It's to my disappointment that after running a few errands I finally got home with excitement to eat my food only to have the three jerk chicken I ordered, and the soup. Yet, behold a container of plain white rice. How can you repeat my order back to me several times, package it tightly knowing you didn't give me my correct order ? Do you know what it is to come out $24 for a whole meal much less $80 to feed your family and support a business as such? I called right away but unfortunately they closed at nine and no one answered around 9:20pm. I took photos of the meal and the date on my phone along side the receipt. I will not post that here, since it contains sensitive information that I will show the manager. However, I will post a photo of the incomplete order. I'm more disappointed upon reading reviews that have complaints that they make no attempt to rectify the matter but rather give redundant very much chatgpt responses. I'm so disappointed I will no longer be supporting this establishment unfortunately because I wasted money.

If you don’t like your job go to college , get a degree & find a CAREER you aren’t miserable in. I don’t take disrespect or attitude kindly. I went to the drive thru. I ordered a small curry chicken meal and macaroni & cheese. I was so excited to finally support this location since I was a Plainfield resident for most of my life. The meal was dry, no real curry taste, barely warm, and the macaroni & cheese wasn't what I expected.The service was good but I will not be going back. I will either be going to Lyons Ave location or when I want authentic I will go back to Elma's Kitchen.

I got the oxtail, curry chicken, chicken and mild beef patty. Loved the oxtail! I probably won't get the curry chicken again, I really didn't care for the chucks of meat or flavor. The beef patty was decent, had a nice kick to it. The soup was to Hugh hunks of potato and no noticeable chicken. I would definitely go back for the oxtail though.

1st and last time coming here. Spicy beef patties barely had any beef in them and the chicken curry patty literally had NO CHICKEN. Also, no plantains were included with the jerk chicken meal even though I was asked if I wanted them.
