I ordered the chicken parmesan dinner and it was horrible!! No seasoning at all. The is definitely NOT the original Italian Village as before the quality has gone down drastically. We won't be coming back

Visited this place looking for a VEGETARIAN pizza today. It was an amazing experience! Took them a little while to bake it but they promised us that we'd love it. So true! The overall taste of veggies was great! Crust was soft & chewable.....crispy as well.

It's been awhile since I ordered food from Italian village because the previous owners had left and the food went down. HOWEVER, I am excited to say that the NEW Italian Village food gives me immense pleasure to say, it's just like old times!! Food was just how I remembered it when Joey was there! The service was friendly and very eager to please. I will be back!! Great job New owners, and WELCOME to the Plainfield neighborhood!

I think Italian village just might be back. I just ordered some fettuccine Alfredo w chicken.

First off the was chicken seasoned to perfection, and they wasn’t stingy with it. Alfredo sauce the perfect consistency; nice & creamy, not overly thick or too runny. It’s actually flavorful and not bland tasting like I thought it would be. Shut me right up, had to sit and write a review the food was so good (lol). Even came with a side salad and a nice buttered garlic roll, which actually tasted freshly baked; nice & fluffy.

Shout out to the cooks tonight, who ever it was did their thang tonight! Cooked that Alfredo with some love 10/10 recommend

I moved to Plainfield NJ 6 months ago. Italian village was the first place I visited and they happen to be switching management. Ive been coming ever since! Leo is a great guy and will go out of his way to provide great service. The mussels are my favorite appetizer and the spicy vodka is my go to. Their pizza is phenomenal as well.

Wow! What a gem! We were headed home from NYC on I78 and wanted pizza. Well worth the short detour. The warm bread is the best and we were returning from Paris so we had just had some great bread. It was 3:30 on a Friday afternoon and the place was jumping. Several locals waiting for an order told us how great the food is. The owner is friendly and obviously knows his customers. If you’re on 78 between NYC and PA, STOP HERE!!
