We’ve been ordering from here for years, and always enjoyed the pizza and sandwiches. But our friends have been raving about new ownership, and the revised menu and…wow.I had calamari fra diavolo tonight and it was amazing. My wife had shrimp marinara and thoroughly enjoyed it as well.Really terrific. Don’t let the pizzeria storefront fool you.

WoW! Italian Village has been transformed into a 5 star Italian restaurant. The new owner Leo has taken full charge to bring to Plainfield sought after third generation Italian recipes and regular menu dishes. My family can't wait to return and try the seafood and Leo's unique pizza creations. Italian Village has excellent food, and we have visited often. Today, I ordered a delivery from them through GrubHub, and the order was wrong because of a glitch in the App, so I had to place a second order to get enough for my class. Italian Village actually stayed in touch via text, messaged when the driver was late coming, and even sent an extra treat that I had cancelled. You just don't get that kind of service often. Thank you for making the day for my students and for me!

This restaurant was an old favorite for a long time. The last owners made me not want to come back. But, the new owners are amazing! Great service and awesome food! I'm so happy to have it back again!

The owner at Italian Village was awesome yesterday to my spouse and I when we ordered there for the first time.They do not deliver and he made an exception. We felt like royalty because he himself drove it to our complex, didn't accept a tip, and was so awesome. The food was great also and it was affordable compared to other places these days!

I'm going to start by saying I never leave reviews but I am very disappointed in this restaurant. since the ownership has changed, the portions and service have changed. they gave us the wrong order and when I called to tell them, they didn't want to hear me, put me on hold for 5 minutes and then didn't answer when I called again. I can say we won't be returning to this restaurant.
