Came in on a Saturday night and was seated very quickly. Our server Matt was very friendly and told us about the restaurant specials. We ended up ordered 2 empeñadas chicken mole and birria tacos, while waiting for the food we were given some chips and salsa. All the food was good and we also had 2 of the drinks and they were very good. I would definitely come back to explore more of the menu.

Amazing food and incredibly friendly staff! The best Mexican food I have had in a long time. The menu has a wide variety of choices, you are sure to find something you like! I loved the homemade juices that were served, it was unique. So excited for the Westfield location to open. Best of luck and cannot wait to come back!!

This has become our go to place for Authentic Mexican food ! The Food, service and atmosphere is on point . Been here about 5 times and tried different items each time , Working my Way thru the menu but I recommend the Birria Tacos as the first item to try .

Been wanting to try this place since it opened, and tonight we finally got the chance.Charming brick faced wall interior, gorgeous mural, and Edison lighting. Had the guacamole and chips, husband had the beef birria tacos with consome (his first time ever trying), and I had the camaron tacos. Everything was flavorful, portions were adequate, and pricing is fair. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Avi, one of the co-owners who graciously offered us samples of their house made juices and struck up a nice conversation with us about the establishment. I should also mention they us Toast for e-pay so that was super convenient. This restaurant is a terrific addition to Plainfield and we will certainly be back.

Great Mexican comfort food! Went for a weekday lunch because parking can be difficult in the area when it gets busier. Service is excellent and food is even better. Make sure to come in hungry because you know you’re in for a treat.

Wonderful food- super fresh. Also, there was an issue with DoorDash and the restaurant solved it right away - brought our food personally. Great customer service. Our new go-to for Mexican food. Try the birria tacos and guac!

The flautas were absolutely top notch! Guac made super fresh! Had both of their natural signature drinks! My husband loved their shrimp in ojo, watch out the diablo sauce is super spicy! Staff was amazing & food did not take long at all! Won a raffle under my IG name SAVAGEMOM715, and was NOT DISAPPOINTED

I was craving tacos and stumbled upon this gem of a place. It really impressed me! I I had 3 birria tacos with cheese, 3 shrimp tacos and 3 empanadas (beef, chicken and shrimp) respectively. Wow just wow! Everything was delicious! I even ordered their homemade tamarind and pineapple juice. The management was very friendly and polite. Definitely recommend La Bendita! And don’t forget to ask for their spicy green sauce, it goes perfectly with everything!

La bendita sounded promising from its rating here and posts in Instagram but its pretty much a disappointment. This weekend I made a huge order for delivery hoping to indulge in some delicious Birria tacos, flautas, carne asada tacos and some pozole. However, la bendita let me and family down. We ordered for delivery and it took an hour and a half to get our food. In that span of time I called twice and was informed that the driver was on his way. I only live 12 mins from the location. Once I received my food and began to open containers we were surprised with SOGGY tacos and water down caldo that tasted like water with cumin. The birria itself had no flavor. It was pretty much small chucks of colored meat and a lot of cheese. The pozole was also not to standard with the acompañado; dry lettuce and hard tostadas. A complete disappointment!!I’m really not the one to call back due to bad service but I had to and after speaking to the owner he pretty much said it was a busy day and ran out of everything. Basically he gave me the scraps and water down caldo. At that point he was apologetic and reassured me he will make it up by redoing the order for the next day and he will personally delivered it to me at 1pm. Now here I am 9:30pm writing this review, which is the first review I’ve ever done! Really disappointed and upset at this type of service. If you do not have the ingredients to complete an order you can simply not complete the order but this restaurant went out of their way to water down their food.
