Went to Pete’s and ordered steamed whole crabs, the crabs I received were all mushy. I figured I would give them One more try and went back a few weeks later ordered the crabs again, this time they were all full of sand. SMH. Will not be returning.

Pete’s is the best fish market in New Jersey. We come here at least twice a month. The fish is always fresh, there is not one thing that we bought here that was not fantastic. Consistency is very important to us and this place is definitely consistent. The staff and the owner are so friendly and even know us by name. I recommend Pete’s to anyone who want to buy fresh fish. We did a seafood boil for the first time and it was amazing!

We picked up a bushel of crabs this past weekend and had a great crab boil! Right now seems like the harvest is in season. Service was great and very friendly. We even got a call from the owner later in the week to see how our crab boil went!

Loved their fried fish sandwiches but had to lower rating as they allow smoking in the store from employees.....why not smoke outside total turn off for me
