This Wawa is okay, but the issue is that there is inconsistency in their inventory. An example is the no salt Utz chips. Here today, gone for 3 weeks. Isn't there a weekly SHIPMENT? Also the employees should not be singing while making food and drinks. It is unsanitary. Finally, wear a hair net too...

I love the fact that a Wawa opened in town. Great service at the gas station. Solid curbside pick up and inside it is your typical Wawa. Nothing further to report.

Oh My God Becky G.

I ordered two drinks and two sandwiches. When I received the drinks I waited by the counter for my sandwiches. But I later found out my food HAD BEEN ready, just nobody called the number on my paper to announce it was ready. So they were getting cold and I was just standing around wasting time. I went up to get my food, but since my hands were a little full with a drink in both hand, I asked if I could use a bag to hold the food. They said they only had a small bag and I said that was fine. But the worker threw the bag at me for me to put the food in myself. It didn't leave a good impression on me. I put my drinks down and packed the sandwiches myself and left. The reason they didn't announce my food was ready was they were busy joking to each other that they need to wash their hands to make the food. I wasn't really paying attention at the time but I remember this conversation now that I look back. I got food poisoning later that day after eating HALF my sandwich. Disgusting.

Brand new wawa in plainfield. So far so good, I haven't had any issues while patronizing them ans I've noticed that their gas prices seem to be lower than the other wawa's and gas stations in the area.

No hours are posted here on Google and I am here on a Tuesday at 9pm and they are closed? Oh thank heaven for 7 eleven (next door). At least they have Poland Spring water not that tasteless Deer Park

Ordering food online here is a hit or miss. Sometimes they don't put your order together at all and you'll have to go through the isles to pick out what you ordered.Seems like the food staff is stressed. I had complications with my online order and the food staff were all quick to ignore me and move onto making other orders.

There was a decrepit, run down Chinese takeout on this site for years, which never even looked like it was inhabited. Then, the property sold to the Wawa development corporation for $8.8 million, and then they spent a fortune to build this sprawling filling station and convenience store, literally right next door to a 7-Eleven, and within a block of a couple other gas stations. It's in a semi-residential neighborhood, but looks like a highway truck stop. The complex opened two weeks ago, slightly ahead of schedule. It seemed like local gasoline prices dropped about 10¢ a gallon with the opening of this store, so, if nothing else, it's good for competition, and they are already doing a land-office business. I don't buy food at convenience stores like this, except for milk in an emergency, and snack cakes. Wawa usually stocks an extensive selection of Tastykakes, so I'll be investigating that. As far as their breakfast/lunch food and sandwich options, IDK, but this one block of South Ave. in Plainfield is already replete with fast-food options, including a Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Dairy Queen, and the Italian Village pizzaria and sandwich shop. One serious concern is a narrow, concealed driveway entrance/exit on Terrill Rd., the side street to South Ave., which looks to me like a traffic accident waiting to happen.

Nice store, but the need to fix the driveway situation. I observed this during the construction and my suspicions were confirmed today at the grand opening: the single two-lane driveway is not enough to prevent bottlenecking and traffic slowdown during peak hours. They need to widen the driveway and probably add another one. There is an exit to Terrill Rd, but it's inconvenient if you want to go west on South Avenue.Good to have reasonable priced gas in this area which has been at the mercy of the likes of Exxon, Shell, and BP for a long time. I noticed Exxon is now price matching the Wawa. I will continue to avoid them and I hope others do the same. Wawa also has free air compression with digital tire gauges.
