I ordered Curry Goat, jerk turkey wings and Red Snapper. Everything was delicious. The Goat did not taste gamey and the jerk was spicy but not too spicy. The Snapper was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend.

Real stick attitude from the older lady that works there! Her damn attitude each time is an embarrassing to your establishment as Jamaicans. Why is she placed in front to deal with customers if her attitude is not professional. Her ass gets an attitude everytime for no reason. No smile, look on her face is with annoyance. I told myself I would NEVER eat there or spend my hard earned $$$ ever again but my son really loves the jerk lunch meal and I gave him and took him there from knowing how she deal with people in general. I honestly thought maybe someone else would be there to just quickly serve us and she wouldn't. Behold another person was there serving a guy which I was glad for just so my son can get something quickly to eat and there she was coming from the back. Pure disappointment to be honest to deal with her sore attitude and face this early morning. I told my son to quickly ask for what he want which was now just fried dumplings because lunch was not ready. He told her can he have 3 dumplings while pointing and she started picking up the spoon with the counter to serve him ackie... I said NO that's not what he wanted. She then quickly with attitude put the pan down and said "well what do you want" asking my 16 year old. He then said dumplings. I jumped in and said he wants fried dumplings while pointing. I had to walk away to the register and went to quickly pay before the Godliness cones out of my character. Please Please ya'll need to give this lady a course in CUSTOMER SERVICE because she's not learning nothing from her bad behavior towards customers that continue to keep ya'll in business. I will NOT reward bad behavior with my $$$ and recommendation to others. I have been working in Hotel Hospitality for 26 years and when you KNOW BETTER YOU DO BETTER! Shame of ya'll owners of this restaurant. Fix your attitude and niceness lady!

If I could give no stars I would! Definitely will not be back! I have always liked the food here, but the ladies attitude definitely need to be adjusted. Woman to woman, Jamaican to Jamaican PLEASE work on your Hospitality! My son & I always come in after getting his hair cut down the street, but after today the experience my husband and I had I rather find elsewhere or drive to Linden and give Yaad Pot our business. Worse attitude + by the time we drove all the way home to Piscataway to discover we were given the wrong food was a huge disappointment. LEARN to speak professional and SMILE like you want our business! We as customer's can go anywhere else to eat or cook it at home, but we choose to come in and dine along with spending our $$$ to keep you in business.Very disappointed! Learn to give customers time to order without giving attitude, learn how to respond to questions about your food. Remember WORD A MOUTH is a hell of a thing!

I ordered some curried goat and rice a couple of weeks ago at work and treated 2 of my coworkers. They were both complaining about the food I just thought the seasoning was off. No later than 2 minutes after I ate it my head was in the toilet. I work 12 hour shifts and I was sick the whole shift after that. Never again.

This is not my first time getting food from here. The food is very good. It will always surprise me how the workers behind the counter seem to be bothered by my presence in their establishment. Each time I have approached the counter with a smile and "Hello." I get asked "Whatcha want?" I think I got a nod this last visit. This will never be an acceptable start to successful customer service. Fabulous food. Nice spot. Too bad the servers don't seem happy to be there.

The food is really good. I am from Brooklyn, N.Y. so I have been raised on Jamaican food. I was so nervous about finding a good Jamaican spot to that reminds me of the food in bklyn when I moved to Plainfield. Man, this place is on point. Well seasoned. The j*** chicken has plenty plenty spicy but not fire hot. The rasta pasta is finger licking. The price is fair and you will be full from the portions. The only reason for a 4 star is they run out of soup and roti super quick!!! You better get there early or no soup for you!!! It's worth it!!

Great food, terrible, rude & cantankerous attitude from one lady in particular. When I can come into your place of business to spend my money, say hello and you role your eyes and not respond at all, as if I called you out of your name & cursed you and the god of your fathers, that's a major freaking problem. I hate that I won't be able patronize this place with really good food any more. Black people! Do better!

From I walk in, I know I'm in the right place. The humbleness of the workers was so comforting. The price is right. And let me tell you the food is well delicious. Any time I'm in the area, I would take the opportunity to enjoy some well seasoned, and tasty food.Thank you!❤️??Vegetarian options: Nuff veggiesParking: Plenty of parking

Great place but I like it better when yabba was there they are really good but the attitude the gentleman making J*** turkey feels like everyone must kiss his bottom and then he charges One Price while the nice lady charges a different price ??and the weird guy at the counter asking you to follow his YouTube FOH they must have forgot that Golden crust is coming to Plainfield and will be on the East end YABBA these people are bringing down your establishment rebuild overall food is great it's the energy that needs to change

My go to spot in Plainfield when I want some Jamaican food. After moving to NJ from Brooklyn I thought I'd never find a good oxtail and rice and peas again but Yabba's hits the spot every time !

I work around the corner and I get this for dinner at least once a week. It has never failed me or my family. My household loves their food. The employees are so nice and welcoming. They always have a variety of foods to choose from. They also give a generous portion and prices are decent.
