Restaurant is closed since the pandemic. Dinner is being served in the Flight bar in the same hotel. They offer the same menu. This restaurant is currently being used only for breakfast.

Made reservations for an early Valentine's day dinner, turns out the restaurant is only open for breakfast. I drive by the hotel several times a week and see a huge banner out front which states that the restaurant is open. Just an awful experience. Open table should not offer dinner or lunch reservations and Forrestal Grille Princeton should take down their sign.

Open Table is not available for this restaurant so arrived for a reservation booked on here that does not even exist and they weren't very nice about it and couldn't even accommodate us. They need to ensure this is shut down on Open Table to avoid inconvenience

The service was very good. Regarding the food, it was overall good, however I ordered the scallops and when they brought it to me they had a strong smell and flavor of ammonia which is indicative of decomposition. I did mention it to the waitress who was very apologetic and did not charge us for the plate but it definitely wasn't a very good Valentine's Day dinner to say the least.

Visited Forrestal Grille for the first time to try out the menu - our food was prepared quickly. Please know the lighting is bright and isn't what you might typically find for usual dining ambiance. We hope to visit again and try some other options on the menu.

I scheduled a reservation via open table a few weeks prior to Easter Sunday. On Easter day, after 12 pm I received a voicemail indicating that the restaurant was closed in the afternoon and would reopen for dinner time. Hence they are unable to accommodate the scheduled 3 pm reservation that I made weeks prior. I was completely dissatisfied that a manager would not have looked at upcoming reservations more closely earlier in the week to notify a patron of this miscommunication. I had to scramble to find a reservation on Easter Sunday for a party of 7 people. I was completely frustrated by the lack of consideration and customer service demonstrated.

The food was very good however; for the price of the entrees, I wouldn't have assumed Greenday wouldn't be playing on the radio. You kind of walk up to a podium where a host or hostess would seat you, if there were one. Nobody can see you standing there so you kind of look around aimlessly until you finally decide to venture down the ramp where they realize you've probably been standing around, pick up a menu off of the end of the bar and sit you. There are little flies all over the place which I would assume is from the bottles behind the bar not being properly covered at night. Didn't have a terrible experience but I definitely won't be returning.

The food was actually quite good for a hotel restaurant. Appetizers we tried were the potstickers, muscles with tomatoes, and calamari. Our mains included the fish and chips, steak frites, salmon, and Turkey burger. All were well received. What I didn't like was the service. The waitstaff were for the most part friendly, although no one greeted us upon arrival for 5 minutes, and no one thanked us when leaving. Nothing is worse than leaving without being thanked, nothing.

This is an entirely hidden hotel restaurant, nothing more. I went because we had a gift certificate, but it was odd to go there since we weren't staying at the hotel. Wine list very limited, food mediocre. Dining room has a view of a pharmaceutical company lobby.

We had dinner here for group of 5. The entire time that we ate at this restaurant, on a Friday night in August, the place was completely empty. Upon seating we were given two different menus. One menu was for their upstairs bar Flight and a menu for the restaurant itself. The dishes available were expensive, as expected for a hotel restaurant. The selection was varied but sparse. There are only 5 entree choices. For a "grill" there were not very many grill options. The waitress is kind and polite and very attentive which we expected considering we are the only guests there. The food that we did order was cooked well but nothing spectacular. I ordered some sort of blue drink, I cannot remember but it is one of their specials. It was mixed way too strong with blue caracao and I had to request and mix it with an entire glass of pineapple juice to help flavor. When asked about boxing our leftovers we were very promptly handed styrofoam box. At the price level this restaurant is at I expected them to box up to leftovers for us. The place its self is pretty with a nice view of the foot bridge to the conference center and a creek. I just can't justify the experience against the cost though but it was a quick fix after a long drive to the hotel from central PA.
