First time here and absolutely recommended! The place is crowded in a good way. Food is tasty and the people knows, that’s why they go.

By far the best Indian restaurant I have ever experienced!
All of the menu options that I have tried in my 20+ times here were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
The staff have treated me like family since our first meeting.
The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is very clean.
Highly recommended!

Pepper house almost reduced their quantity it’s half(only half in take away) and price has been increased 20%,. I believe they are taking advantage of Loyal customers. I have been eating in Pepper house quite long time, but past 2weeks food quality is getting bad. They are making with too much salt and now they are using low grade meat.since they are extending their business to next shop they reduced quantity to half. Additionally using too much agino motor MSG and we can feel it- need to taken with food inspectors randomly to check. Thanks

About 2 years ago, I was introduced to Pepper House in Plainsboro. Food was great back then. In 2025, prices of food items soared, quantity was down by a third, cooking and taste of food became inconsistent. Today, I ordered a takeout - hot dish of chicken fry. Food was late by 25 minutes (after promised time) and CHICKEN WAS COLD IN THE CENTER OF THE PIECES. How does something fried in oil be cold at its center as soon as it is picked up. Fake reviews are keeping their score up. This is my opinion. Make your own decision.

We had catered the food it was truly exceptional, every dish was not only delicious and had an authentic taste of a homemade meal. Our guests consistently commented on the freshness and superior flavor of the food.
The staff arrived precisely on time, ensuring a seamless and prompt setup that perfectly aligned with our schedule and expectations.

I ordered the **special chicken biryani** a couple of times last week. The taste was good overall, but the second time, the chicken pieces were noticeably dry.
I had requested a **spicier version** to see how they’d handle it. They added extra green chili pieces, which worked fine — though I’ve noticed that different restaurants approach spice differently: some add extra masala, others use more pepper powder.
What I’m really watching for is **consistency**. They used to have a branch in **Mount Laurel**, and I was disappointed multiple times with the food quality from that location. That branch has since closed, likely due to ongoing issues with consistency and quality.
I hope this current location maintains its standards — because when done right, their biryani is worth coming back for.

Pepper House the the perfect name for a good restaurant that serves endless amounts of mouthwatering spicy meals. From the irresistible chili garlic naan, to the fiery mains such as the daal fry, chicken Chettinad, and my personal favorite, Shrimp Royale INGLU, this is definitely gonna be a return staple. Absolutely amazing food

Had a wonderful experience at Pepper House, Plainsboro. The food is absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. The Cooker Pulav was outstanding – perfectly spiced and so comforting. We also tried their Chicken Chettinad, Malabar Parotta, and Butter Chicken and every dish was spot on. The portions are generous, service is friendly. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurant in the area – highly recommended!

I never went for dine in , mostly take away. Food was ok , it’s not that great, but today’s experience forced me to write a review. I ordered for vindalloo instead I got mixed vegetables curry. I called up to complaint about this, interestingly the guy who picked the phone says what colour the curry is in .. and the he passed the phone to his manager, and this guy says .. he is manager, excutive chef, main chef, owner and few other. And in the he says, I prepared this myself and have give the exact order .. very adamant and don’t event listen to what customer says , instead he says I don’t what vindaloo is .. amazing experience .. will never go back who says customer don’t know what he want and instead says what they are giving is always correct.

We had a really disappointing experience here. First, it took 40 minutes for the food to arrive. After 20 minutes of waiting, the server came over just to tell us the dal makhani we ordered wasn’t available, so we had to change our curry. Another 20 minutes passed, and when we asked why it was taking so long, he casually said the “curry chef is not available.” I still don’t know what that was supposed to mean.
After all that waiting, the food wasn’t worth it at all. Definitely not a good experience and not a place I’d recommend.
