really pretty small cafe that serves asian style desserts and drinks! i like how their desserts aren't overly sweet and price is really affordable. definitely recommend black sesame soft serve and boba creme puff. their coffees are super tasty as well. also this is a great study spot if u want somewhere more on the quiet side ; bathrooms are very clean and staff super friendly!

So nice to have another ice cream place in the area that's not a chain. I was most interested in the black sesame soft serve. Theirs is textured without being sandy and lightly sweeten not covering up the nuttiness and earthiness that's black sesame. The rest of my party ordered the strawberry bubble waffle and other flavors. $5 is a good deal for the amount and quality of the ice cream. Would highly recommend to a friend to visit this store.Kid-friendliness: Lots of room. Bright. Clean.

Shuu Cafe is a cute little dessert shop that is perfectly nestled in between the restaurant strip in Plainsboro Square. It's a great stop for a snack or a post meal dessert, especially if you want something mostly light, and not super sweet. I will admit that as someone with a sweet tooth, I was hoping for a little bit more flavor and excitement from the desserts I tried. But with that being said, the desserts were obviously well crafted, beautiful to look at, and not bad at all to eat. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their Passionfruit-Ade and will definitely be going back for another one.
